HeartBreak

Dumped

I slowly open my eyes seeing the sun shinning through my window. I pick up my phone off of my nightstand. It was 9:00 AM. I sigh as I see that I had twenty missed calls from Ryan. What was so important that he needed to call me twenty times? I take a deep breath and call him back. The phone rings a few times before he answers.

"Hello?" I hear him say on the other end.

"Hi." I reply.

"Oh, hey." He simply replied.

"Why did you call me twenty times last night?" I ask curiosity.

"Fuck yes Devon." I hear him whisper.

"Is someone with you?" I ask, as I hear the sound of a bed rocking in the background.

"Oh shit,..um I called you to tell you that I think that we should break up." He says carelessly.

"Wow, okay." I say looking down at the ground.

"Oh my god yes!" Ryan yells, as that noise in the background gets louder.

My mouths drops "Are you having sex?" I stammer.

"Um yea, I'm single now." He carelessly says, hanging up.

What the fuck? I say to myself throwing my phone down. How much of a dick do you have to be to cheat on your boyfriend, then carelessly dump him. Oh and not to mention have sex with ANOTHER guy while on the phone.

I hardy had enough energy to get out of bed, but I managed. I walked downstairs to get something to eat. I was starving.

"Good Morning." My mother says, walking into the kitchen in her robe.

"Good Morning." I reply, yawning a bit.

"How'd you sleep?" She asks.

I shrug my shoulders. "Alright I guess."

I open the fridge, grabbing an orange juice box.

"Are you ready for college next month?" My mom asks excitedly.

"Yea." I say, sticking the straw into the juice box.

I needed to start packing for college next month. This was going to be one of the biggest events of my life......College.

So yea. That's the second chapter of this book. Sorry these first two chapters were pretty short. The next ones will be longer. Well thank you guys for reading. Love you all! 😊
