Chapter 1 - An Inevitable Encounter.

The story takes place right after Goku leaves.

After the defeat of Omega Shenron, who had absorbed the other Shadow Dragons, Son Goku, the victor, was forced to leave.

Goku was now one with the 7 Dragon balls, and that he knew.
Once Shenron approached Goku, he knew that his time had come.

Goku leaped on the back of Shenron and was about leave when Vegeta, his long-time rival, and most importantly, friend, interrupted him.

"You're going to train, alone, aren't you?!" Vegeta asked in an annoyed tone.

Goku's smile faded, and he looked at Vegeta.
"Not this time, old friend."

Vegeta raised his eyebrows, he was clueless as to what his kind, albeit dumb friend was saying.

"What do you me-"

"Grandpa!" Goku heard a voice calling out to him.

Pan

"What is it, Pan?"

"Y-You're not leaving, are you?"

Goku didn't utter a word after hearing her ask that question.

He simply looked at Vegeta and said.

"They're all in your care now, take care of them, and farewell."

And like that, Shenron, along with Goku, left the planet earth.

Chi-Chi was heard crying out to him in anger, questioning him where on earth he was going, while Gohan, Goten, and Pan, had their mouths open.

But Vegeta understood the meaning behind Goku's words. He simply grunted and stood still.

As everyone was ready to leave, Pan noticed her a part of Goku's Gi on the ground, she quickly picked it up and wondered when her grandfather lost it.

Pan then heard Vegeta out of nowhere say, "Make sure you hold that dear." He then flew away, back home.

Pan stood there in silence, wondering when she will see her Grandfather once again.

4 Years Later.

Somewhere in the Milky Way, Planet Neptune.

The Environment in Planet Neptune was nothing short of awful.

Cold and melancholy.
Such was this planet named by those who were unfortunate enough to venture there, but fortunate enough to escape it.

In there, somewhere deep inside of the planet, was a body.
The body was frozen in ice, and yet perfectly fine.

Consciousness was returning to the one trapped in the ice.
"What is this." Y/N thought.
You tried moving your limbs, but alas, to no avail.

"Ice?" You thought to yourself, "Getting out of a predicament like this..."

You then exerted a little more force, instantly shattering the ice around you.

"Means nothing."

You then noticed the cold around you, "Planet Neptune, was it?"
You remember reading about it in a book before...

Before he appeared.

The Haikaishin.
Beerus.

Your memory is hazy, you're not able to remember the outcome.

You can only guess that, which is obvious.

A draw, at a terrible cost.

His planet, his home.

Gone.

He came to ask about a Super Saiyan god.

You knew of the Saiyan race, the warrior race that conquered and sold planets as if it was business. We may look alike, but we're not the same.
Saiyans are despicable beings.

You knew not of the Super Saiyan God, but you were still able to give him a fight worthy of an epic.

But as you and Beerus ventured deep into space, a powerful stray energy ball hit your planet, and the rest is history.

You were able to fight Beerus, the Haikaishin, to a draw, a feat astounding for a mortal.

Beerus may have the upper hand in raw power, but when it comes to speed and technique, I have him bested.

Your ability, the *Absolute Impulse* is a technique that separates the consciousness from the body, allowing it to move and fight independently of a martial artist's thoughts and emotions.
It is an extraordinarily difficult technique to master, but you?

You were born with it. You remember the form ever since you were able to think.
But you don't remember anything about it either.

How long has it been since the fight? How long was I unconscious?

You suddenly felt rage surge inside of you, and in a manner of seconds, you flew out of the planet.

You couldn't waste any more time.

I must seek a civilized civilization. I must seek answers. And warn others,
of him.

Of Beerus.

I must stop him.

Before it is far too late.

It was early morning back on planet Earth when Bulma, the brilliant scientist, was having breakfast when her radar suddenly picked up something.

The radar was meant for the protection of Earth. Its purpose was to warn them of enemies that might be heading towards their planet.

"Vegeta!" Bulma shouted at her grumpy, tired, and hungry, husband.

"What is it, woman."

"Do you see this?"

Vegeta, not even taking a glance at her radar spouted.
"It's probably another meteor, I'll get rid o-"

Before Vegeta was able to finish his sentence, Bulma turned his head towards the radar.

Vegeta suddenly stopped eating, "It looks like a-"

"Exactly," Bulma stated.

"A humanoid."

The romance of Pan and the MC will develop as the story progresses ;)
