Hoody and Masky x Reader

Chapter 1

 You're running through the forest, trying to escape him. " Somebody, please, anybody, help!" He's catching up to you, and fast. You don't know what to do, he won't leave. You're too busy thinking to notice a root that pops out of nowhere. You scream as you fall and turn to face the man chasing you. He laughs and tries to grab you,but before he can two figures step in front of you, blocking his view. The shorter one in a faint khaki jacket pulls out a gun, while the taller one with a faint yellow hoodie kneels down to be on your level. The man that was chasing you slowly backs away. " This isn't over ( y/n )." " Actually I'm pretty sure it is." The shorter man pulls the trigger and the guy chasing you lays dead on the forest floor. " W-who are you guys?"The man in the hoodie helps you up before speaking. " Who we are is not important, just be glad we came when we did." You give them a shaky smile. " Thank you for saving me, I really appreciate it." They both nod before heading back into the forest, vanishing from your view.

A few days later you decide to head back into the forest, not because you want to, but because you dropped your phone while running and you would really like to have it back. You start retreating your steps, hoping to find your phone, but you're unsuccessful . " Damn, why the hell can't I find it?" You mutter. " Looking for this?" You jump back in surprise and run into a person. You tilt your head up to find the man in the hoodie, holding up your phone. You smile. " Thanks for finding it!" He hands you your phone and you turn to face him. The shorter man appears beside you, startling you. You jump in surprise and almost fall over. The shorter man steadies you. You smile at him and he releases you. " Never caught your names, would you mind telling me?" They look at each other before turning to you. " I'm Hoody, and this is Masky." You stare at them for a second. " No offence, but those are some weird names." Masky lets out a huff of annoyance. You giggle at that, which makes him turn to you. " What's so funny ( y/n )?" " Nothing, your reaction was cute, that's all." He quickly turns away from you, trying to hide the fact that he's flustered. Hoody chuckles at Masky's response, and turns back to you. " Who was that guy that was chasing you earlier?" You shudder at the thought of him, but respond nonetheless. " He, he was my ex." The men glance at each other before clearing their throats. " We're sorry, we shouldn't have asked." You look up at them, and smile. " Don't feel bad, it's not your fault that he was an asshole!" They give you a shocked look under their masks. Why is ( she / he / they )so cheerful about this? You notice how quiet they get and give them a worried look. " Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry if I did." Hoody is the first to speak. " No no, nothing like that, we were just... thinking, that's all!" You giggle. " Thinking the exact same thing at the exact same time?" Hoody's face heats up when he realized how stupid he sounded. " Well, I- uh - I didn't- That sounded-" You pat him on the shoulder. " Relax, I'm only joking, I know what you meant!" You gave them a wave and started to head back home, leaving Hoody and Masky speechless.... This person.. they're different!

So, first Chapter done! This book might be a little slow to update, but I promise I'll try my hardest to give you guys content that you can enjoy! As usual, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help make this story better!
