Chapter 16

The next morning you wake up in Hoody and Masky's room. You feel something warm on your stomach, and realize that Hoody is hugging you in his sleep. You blush furiously and try to get up, but he won't let you, after 15 minutes of pure concentration, you manage to escape his grasp. You throw on a Blue hoodie and Black jeans, before retreating into the living room, where Sally was bursting with joy. " This is going to be the best Halloween ever!" Sally sits in the living room telling LJ ( laughing Jack ) and Jason ( Jason the toymaker ) about her Halloween plans. " ( y/n ) and I are going to have the best Halloween ever, right ( y/n )?" You smile at her. " Yeah, it's definitely going to be the best!" LJ and Jason smirk. " Well, I'd love you join you, but I don't think Sally would allow it." " No, it's Okay Jack, You and Jason can come!" Both Jason and LJ comically face - plant. Sally cheers. " Yay! more people!" Puppeteer and Painter walk on over. " What're you guys talking about?" " Oh, hey Painter! We were talking about our Halloween plans!" Puppeteer chuckles. " Aren't you a little old for trick or treating ( y/n )?" You roll your eyes. " I'm taking Sally trick or treating stupid." Painter and him chuckle. " You can come if you guys want to." They look at each other for a second. " Sure, we'll join you!" " Yeeesssss!" Both you and Sally cheer. " What the hell are you two yelling about!?" " Oh, hi Jeff." He smirks. " So, you're acting childish and going trick or treating, tch, what a baby." Painter gets up and slaps Jeff. Everyone gasps, and doesn't move. " Listen asshole, LJ, Jason, Puppeteer and I are all going with them, so if you call ( y/n ) childish, you're calling all of us childish." You start giggling. " WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ( Y/N ), YOU WHORE." You walk over and grab Jeff by the throat. " Never . Insult . Me . Again ." Masky, Hoody, Liu, and Ben walk in on you strangling Jeff. Ben, Hoody and Masky start laughing their asses off. Liu looks relatively pissed off. " ( Y/N ), WHY ARE YOU STRANGLING JEFF- GO ( Y/N ), WOOHOO!" You let go of Jeff and turn to find Sally crying." Sally, why are you crying?" Sally glares at Jeff. " Jeff called me a baby for trick or treating." Ben punches Jeff in the ribs. " Not cool man, not cool." You laugh. " Hoody, Masky, Ben, Liu, wanna come trick or treating with us?" They all nod, and the Halloween squad was formed!

You put on your ripped skinny jeans, and you manage to find a better top, a black crop top with little cat paws on it. You put on the cat ears, and head to Sally's room. " ( y/n ), you look amazing!" " Thank you Sally, now, how do you want me to do your hair?" " Uhhhh, can you braid it to the side?" " Sure!" A couple of minutes later, you finish her hair, and the both of you head down the stairs. There you meet the gang, and you're quite surprised at their costumes. Puppeteer, LJ, Painter, and Jason are going as themselves, Liu is going as a male version of Sally from The nightmare before Christmas ( Yes I took this idea from A Weird Cosplayer, go check them out, they're amazing! ) and Hoody and Masky are going as... cats! " whoa, Brian, Tim, how'd you know I was going as a cat?" Hoody and Masky smirked. " Sally told us, so we thought we'd dress up the same as you, you know, like a couples costume." Once Masky realizes what he said, he gets flustered and you blush deep red. LJ giggles so you kick him in the shins. Ben comes out wearing a pumpkin on his head. " Uhhh, Ben? Was that planned, or...?" " Nope, Jeff got mad at me, and kinda slammed my head into the Jack O'Lantern I was creating." You laugh a little. Toby walks down the stairs with wolf ears on. " H-hey guys, can I joi-in you?" You smile. " Of course Toby, okay guys, let's get going!" You all head out of the mansion, past the forest, and into the neighborhood area. You walk up to the first house and shout as loud as you can. " TRICK OR TREAT!" The kind old lady answers the door. " Oh, you two lovely people look wonderful! You on the right, are those your boyfriends behind you?" She gestures to Masky and Hoody in their cat costumes. " O-oh uhhh, yes, yes they are!" I don't want to make this lady feel bad, but why'd she have to say that? I mean, it wouldn't be that bad if they were my boyfriends- OMG WHAT AM I SAYING!? She gives you each a candy bar and you run to the next house. After trick or treating for about an hour, you all decide to take a break on a nearby bench, since your feet hurt. Painter sits down beside you and ruffles your hair. " I never knew you liked trick or treating so much ( y/n )." You smile at him. " Well, it used to be something I did with my friends and my ex before... well before he became who he was." Hoody comes up behind you and hugs you, and you give him a grateful smile. " But I'm really glad that you guys came with me, I see all of you as my friends, and I'm so glad you decided to come with me!" Well, I may see some people as more than friends, but that's a topic for another night. You all decide that the group has gotten enough candy, and start making your way back to the mansion, Hoody and Masky holding your hands the whole way back.
