A New Me

Chapter Four

We have been driving for a while and we are are looking for somewhere to eat. "Let's just go through a drive threw or something like that" Camille says. "No I want to get out of the car and eat" Alex says. "Pick something already" Wyatt said. "Gabby are you sleeping" Camille says while shaking her leg.  "Not any more y'all's yelling woke me up" Gabby says. "Now you know how it feels"Caleb says. "Just choose some where to eat" Wyatt said.  "Let's go to IHop" I said. "YAS" they said. We pulled up to IHop and went in and ate. After we ate Alex paid and we went back to the car. Alex is driving Camille is in the front. Wyatt and Gabby were in the other seats and Caleb and I are still in the back. It was getting dark so we drove to the rest stop place. We fixed the seats. Alex and Camille are in the front. Then Gabby and Wyatt. Then Caleb and I are in the back. Right now Caleb and I are walking to the snack machine. "So what are you gonna get" Caleb says breaking the silence. "A water and a oatmeal cookie what are you getting" I say. "A water and some peanut butter crackers" "I bet I could bet you there" I say "no way" "wanna bet" "yep" "ok on 3 1..2...3!" We ran and he won. "I win" he says "you suck" I say playfully pushing him. He laughed god his smile kills me. We bought our stuff and went and sat at one of the picnic tables. We talked and joked around as we ate our snacks. "Come one we should get back before the others think we're dead" i say. "Ok" he said giving me a pouty face. "God your such a dork" I say as we start walking back. As we were walking he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Hey" I say laughing. "Hey" he said. I just laughed. He put me down when we got back to the car. The girls were asleep and Wyatt was on his phone. "So where have y'all been" Alex says while wiggling his eye brows. "Oh No like really no" Caleb and I say. I could feel my face get hot. "Dude no" Caleb said laughing and shaking his head. "Ok" Alex said. "That was awkward" Caleb said. "Yeah im kinda tired" "yeah let's get to sleep" We got in the car and he laid down first then I laid down where my head was on his chest.  "Goodnight" I said. "Goodnight" he said giving me a kiss on my forehead. I smiled and fell asleep.
