Ezio awoke on a beach in what he assumed was the middle of the night. The strange device was gone and Ezio had no idea where he was, damn! What the hell happened?! Ezio while mentally cursing himself heard four voices from a few meters away, "Rose?! What was that?" A voice asked, "I have no idea Pearl, we'll have to check it out." Another voice answered.
Rose had no idea what to expect from the strange sounds but she most definitely didn't expect to see a human on the beach in the middle of the night. The man in question seemed to have noticed them, before Rose could say anything Pearl walked over towards him and asked him in a annoyed voice "What are you doing here human?", the man in question seemed confused and said "che cosa?" Pearl scrunched her nose and seemed confused as well, Rose luckily knew that humans from different regions of the world developed different languages, she also knew a few herself, the man was speaking in a human language known as Italian. Rose gently pushed Pearl out the way and addressed the man in his dialect. Ezio was in a moment of shock, the woman that was speaking to him was at least 8ft tall. The shock was lessened when the woman talked to him in his own language. (Hello, I'm Rose, and you are?) She asked, Ezio smiled and pulled down his hood(My is Ezio, Ezio auditore)

Rose surprisingly blushed for a second, (excuse me for a second Ezio.) Rose turned around. Oh my stars, he's the most handsome human I have ever meet! Composing herself and turning around she told Ezio she has something that could help with the language problem. Ezio nodded, following Rose and the others towards to the temple. Ezio was momentarily awestruck by the giant statue, he was waiting outside of a cave that Rose and the others had walked in. Even though Ezio had not spoken to the others he had been told by Rose their names, Garnet, Amethyst, and finally Pearl. After a few minutes of waiting Rose finally returned, with a strange device in her hand, she gave it to Ezio and simply told him to wear it, Ezio was a bit skeptical but obliged. Once Ezio put it on, he decided to test it. "Hello?" He simply said, Ezio was once again shocked, he obviously could now speak the language they were speaking but his voice still had an accent. "How's this even possible? I now speak this language as if I was born in this area." Ezio stated. "Before we answer that, we have a few questions of our own." Pearl said. "Number 1: how did you end up on the beach?, Number 2: What are you wearing?, Number 3: Why are you using a sword and crossbow? I thought humans stopped using those centuries ago."
Ezio chuckled much to Pearl's annoyance, "Well, these are my robes, two, I'm pretty sure many people still use these weapons, and three, I'm not so quite sure myself on how I ended up on this beach, but I think it had something to do with this." Ezio pulled out the strange device he found in the temple, the gems studied it for a second before all of them(except Amethyst) had a look of shock on their face. "Ezio...what year do you think this is?" Garnet asked. Ezio seemed confused by the question but answered anyway. "1507...why?"
Rose, Garnet, and even Pearl had a look of concern on their face. "Ezio...the year is currently 1985, it hasn't been 1507 in centuries." Rose said. "That's... that's impossible! That means hundreds of years have passed!" Ezio shouted. "I..need some time to think." Ezio said while walking the other direction. Rose was about to stop them before she felt Garnet put her hand one her shoulder. "No Rose, they need some time to think and we need to discuss about this situation." Rose sighed but reluctantly followed Garnet and the rest back into the cave. Ezio walked a good few meters from the temple, he sat down on the soft sand, he looked out towards the peaceful ocean and his thoughts were swirling in his mind. How? Why? Everyone I ever knew and loved are gone, and they don't even know what happened to me. Does the Assassin brotherhood still live? Does the Templar order still exist? Did the Templars succeed in their plans? Or did my brothers stop them? Ezio looked to the strange device still on his hand, the idea of tossing it into the ocean crossed his mind but he decided against it. This device which obviously had power over time could be his only chance home and to his own time.
"So...what are we going to do about him?" Amethyst asked. "Well obviously, we need to find him a way back to his own time, he doesn't belong here." Pearl said, "But how? The device he used is a one-way trip, and we have no idea where another potential one is." Garnet stated. "What even is that thing he used?" Amethyst asked. "A gem technology prototype known as a time-warp, highly dangerous and highly unpredictable." Rose said. Rose decided to leave the rest of the gems to their bickering and arguing about what to do about Ezio. Rose walked along the beach to look for him, she spotted him sitting down and looking out towards the ocean with the gem tech still in his hand. "Hello Ezio" Rose said while sitting down next to him, "I know you probably miss you're family Ezio, and I promise that we will try to figure out something." Rose said. "You're not human, that one known as Pearl kept referring to me as human, which gave me a bit of a hint." Ezio said. "You're right, were not human, were a race known as gems. We come from a different planet known as homeworld, that device you used was gem technology, I'm also afraid the device you used was a one-way trip."
Ezio wanted to be shocked by the revelation that these women were not human, but with all he's seen, he isn't really surprised anymore. "Well you are right that I miss my family, well what's left of it." Ezio said. "What do you mean?" Rose said frowning, "A good portion of my family has been murdered by our enemies, my father, and two brothers were executed due to false charges, and my uncle was killed right in front of me during a attack on our estate." Ezio said while still looking out towards the sea. "Ezio, I'm so sorry...." Rose said while holding back tears. Ezio noticed this, "Please signora, don't cry for me." He said while wiping away one of the tears that was rolling down Rose's cheek. "Were they killed by other humans?" Rose asked, "Yes" Ezio answered. "I never thought humans could be so cruel..." Rose said. "We humans are indeed cruel to one another, but we also help one another when the time comes." Ezio said. Rose smiled at this. "Now that I know."
"Now come Ezio, we have much to discuss with the others." Rose said while standing up and soon, Ezio and Rose walked their way towards the cave.
