Nuraya's P.O.V.

Something loud starting beeping beside my ear. I sat up groaning before throwing the thing away. Finally the sound stopped.

What was that anyways? I open one eye to see a broken alarm clock across the floor.

"Alarm clock?" I sit up rubbing my eyes. My hands, they look funny. That's when my hair got in my face.

"Why is my hair brown? That was my hair color while I was in..." My eyes travel around my surroundings.

"Was it all a dream?" I play with my sheets thinking it over. Everything seemed so real. I sigh getting out of bed.

"What is the date?" I walk over to the calendar. "Saturday May 29th, 2020." My shoulder shrugs as I hop in the shower before getting dressed.

I go into the kitchen and grab some milk before getting some Cheerios down. Once I finished eating I walked into my living room. "Kingdom Hearts." I pick up the package for the game and stare at it. My fingers lingered over my lips. That kiss. It felt too real.

"Snap out of it! You're Nuraya Akurashi! You live in Japan and you are an orphan!" I yell throwing the game into the couch. I walked out of the house down to the store. "Hey Nuraya!" I turn around to see Ayame walking towards me.

"What do you want this time?" I ask expecting her to do something. "Can I not hang out with my best friend?" I gasp before looking at her. Ayame held a smile on her face. This is weird. "Umm, I guess we can hang out."

"Great! I'll see you at the mall in an hour!" She hugged me before running outside. This is so strange. She usually hates me and makes fun of me. What if this is a trap? I walk home and put away my things before heading down to the mall.

As I walked though the door, something caught my eye. It was actually in my eye. Sora and Kairi were being blown back. "NO!" I yell in my head holding it. "It was a dream. Stop it." I mumble looking up. "Nuraya! Hey! Come on let's go." She grabbed my arm and started to tug me into every store.

"Look here's your favorite game. They came out with a new one, have you got it yet?" Ayame asks holding up a Kingdom Hearts game. "No I haven't." I've never seen that game or heard of it. I take it from here hand and look at it.

What?!

Everyone from my dream was on here but what surprised  was the girl standing next to Sora. The reflection of me in the water flashed into my mind. That's me. NO IT"S NOT!

I put the game down on the counter and pay for it. "Oh my! It's past 7:30! My mom is going to kill me! Can you give me a ride?" I nod smiling. We walk outside only to be stopped by a guy. "Nuraya, Ayame! How's it going?" A boy with black hair asked us.

His eyes. They're gold.

"Sorry Van. We got to go. I'm running late." Ayame pulled on my arm blushing. "Just let me say goodbye to my beautiful girlfriend and I'll let you go." She smiled and asked me for the keys I gave them to her without thinking about it.

Next thing I know, his lips are on mine. I tried to get him to stop kissing me but he wouldn't let up. Van? Who's Van? Van is short for Vanitus? Finally I push him away.

"What's wrong baby?" He asks looking worried. "I- Uhh- I have this cough." I fake cough and it was bad. "I don't want to get you sick." He smiled kissing me on the head. "Drive your friend home and call me later."

"I'm sorry if your dad gets onto you about being so late." Ayame says shutting the door. "Dad?" I question. "This place is weird."

I walk into the house and for the first time today, I notice another person's things in the house. "Nuraya, is that you?" A man's voice yells. I guess that's my dad.

"Uh, Yeah." I say back as a man with brown hair comes out of the dining room. "Great! I ordered your favorite for dinner."

I follow him into the dining room to see pork and veggies on the table. My mouth watered looking at it all. "Nuraya, I'd like to say I'm sorry that I haven't been home a lot." The guy says while looking at me. "It's cool."

I suck at trying to act like I know everything about this world when I don't. "We should play a video game after we finish." He suggests pointing his chopsticks towards the living room. I smile enjoying this warmth I felt in my stomach.

"I got a new one today." He smiles throwing away the carry out packages and motioning for me to go into the other room. I put the new game in the Xbox as he sits down on the couch. I hand him a controller as I set up a battle mode.

"You go first." He nods going through the people and picking out.. Ven? I scroll down and without me knowing it, I played the girl on the cover. Her name was Nuraya.

"They must like your name kid." He ruffled my hair laughing at my face. We played before I he had to go to sleep. "Don't stay up too late." He bent down and kissed my head.

The warm feeling left my stomach and went towards my heart. I have a father in this world. This world isn't that bad.

I didn't know how my answer was completely wrong until I started playing the game. Everything that happened in my dream, was put into this game.

Pain went through my head. I screamed out and heard a door open. "Nuraya!" My 'Dad' grabbed my head trying to shh me. "I'll be right back." He ran into the other room and came back to sit by me.

"911, What's your emergency?" And then it went black.

'My emergency is that I'm confused and freaked out right now.'
