*Manny's POV*

I've never cried over a girl before , but I did for Skai.

Ever since that day we ran into each other on the play ground I've always felt feelings for her. She's beautiful beyond belief and it makes me sick that I lost her to Angie.

Angie wasn't pretty at all to me. She was too skinny. No figure whatsoever. And she looked almost fake, not like a real person. I don't know it's weird.

Still as I left Skai's house last night the look in her eyes killed me. I feel like I left a little piece of me with her.

Right now I'm laying in my bed. Angie texts me.

Decide yet handsome?

*To: Angie (Homewrecker)

Yea....

My phone rings..... Guess who. I press the button to answer.

"Yea..." I answer.

"Is that a yes then?" She asks.

"Yea...."

"I wanna hear you say it." She demands.

"I will have sex with you Angie." The words taste bad in my mouth.

"Great. I'll see you Saturday. Mwah." She hangs up.

I turn over in my bed. She was a sick person.

I cried myself to sleep.

The week flies by. Before I know it it's Friday. I've seen Skai at school, it's like a kick in the stomach every time I see her.

I can see the pain in her eyes, and I can feel the pain in my chest.

It's right before last period and I'm at my locker putting my math textbook away.

Angie walks by behind me.

"Hey handsome. Can't wait for tomorrow." She blows a kiss at me.

I slam my locker shut. This bitch is really getting under my skin.

*Skai's POV*

I forgot how great being single is. I don't have to wear makeup or look good for anyone.

I'm laying in my room wearing pink pajama pants and a white tank top. I turn on my TV. Nothing on as usual.

Luckily I invited Dak over. We've gotten kind of close in the past week. Our tutoring sessions lasting longer only to play Xbox and laugh at eachother.

I'm almost to the point of dying of boredom when the doorbell rings.

I run down the stairs and open the door to see Dak carrying two pizza boxes.

"You read my mind I'm starved!" I jump up and down in glee.

Dak shuffles nervously past me to the kitchen.

Hmmm....

I follow him and he sets the pizza down on the table.

"What's the matter?" I ask grabbing a slice and taking a bite.

"You're a little too excited about the pizza and not about seeing your best friend." He says leaning on the counter.

"You would too if you skipped lunch." I keep eating.

Dak walks over and picks me up over his shoulder.

"Hey puts down there's a box of heaven on the counter!" I kick and punch him playfully.
