I wake up to the smell of fresh flowers and a delicious smelling meal.
Willow is setting the table, with two bowls and a jug of milk.
I sit up taking the whole scene in.
The cottage is bigger then I thought it was on the other side of the room there is another bed which I assume is Willows. A great table sits in the middle of the room with the feast laid upon it.
A few barrels line the wall which I assume have extra food rations in them. The cottage smells of flowers and stew. A strangely relaxing smell. The fire is still going in the fireplace, the flames dancing.
"Oh hi sleepy head, finally up, are you hungry at all?" Willow asks me.
"Starved." I say.
The food is delicious, the stew tastes just like something mother would have whipped up. The milk is freshly milked, and the rolls are soft and buttery.
I eat till I can eat no more.
My family very rarely gets to eat so much food, I wish I could share this meal with them.
"Well how was it." Willow asks smiling.
"Great." I smile. "I'm stuffed."
I wasn't use to getting to eat so much food, my family always tried putting food on the table for my sister and I, but it wasn't always easy.
"Well, do you want to see the rest of the village?" Willows asks me.
"Sure." I reply
We walk out of the cottage, it's around noon and already getting dark but the village is lit up with lanterns lining the winding paths.
There are large patches of flowers scattered everywhere.
A small orchard is located behind what looks like a barn.
Willow points out every little detail.
At the end of the path there is a large stone structure, which some what resembles a castle. It was surely the biggest home I had ever seen.
"Who lives there?" I say pointing up to the large structure.
"I knew you would ask that question sooner or later." Willow laughs "Everyone does." She explains.
" Our guider lives there, the person who made this village possible."
Guider? "Oh.." I reply
"Yes it's a bit confusing at first I understand but you will learn." She nods reassuringly.
How would I ever understand any of this?
