#2 Xiao Wangye's Parenting

Xiao Wangye, Dongfang Hao Ye was blessed with twin sons, it was a given that he was proud.

The names of his sons meant 'modest and sincere gentlemen, gentle as a jade'. The eldest son was named Dongfang Jun Qian, and the second son was Dongfang Jun Cheng. Their baby names were Tang Tang and Guo Guo, from the word 'tangguo' which meant candy; the most delicious thing ever.

It was obvious that Xiao Wangye was the one who came up with these names.

Having these two baby sons, Xiao Wangye was very happy. After all, the babies were born from his own beloved wife. Considering how Beitang Yao Yue suffered a great deal while he was pregnant with the babies, Dongfang Hao Ye cherished them even more.

After giving birth to the two babies, Beitang Yao Yue's health was very weak, so Xiao Wangye couldn't even think about taking care of his children. All day long he constantly rotated around Beitang Yao Yue, causing Yao Yue dizzy by seeing him. Afterwards, when Beitang Yao Yue's health was getting better, only then Xiao Wangye had the time to take a good look at his two sons.

Xiao Wangye remembered when the two babies were just born, their face were small and wrinkled. Looking very much like baby monkeys. The wet nurses had told him that all newborn babies looked like that, and then their look would get better in a few days.

However, after they all returned to Yujing, and after the babies' one hundred days celebration, Xiao Wangye thought his two sons still looked like monkeys. Why was this?

Later, the two little sons gradually grew, their face became tender and white, their eyes became round and big. They would be rolling around everywhere, behaving so full of energy. It was making Xiao Wangye feel a painful headache, and he seriously doubted that they really were two monkey spirits reincarnated.

Though Beitang Yao Yue was the one who gave birth to these babies, he was after all, a man. He knew nothing about child care. Xiao Wangye really liked his children and was willing to take care of them, but who was insane enough to let Xiao Wangye raise children? Wasn't that just adding chaos into a chaos?

Therefore, by Jing Wangfu's rules, the two little young masters would naturally had a herd of people trailing behind to wait on them.

Still, because they were the parents, Xiao Wangye and Beitang Yao Yue were very fond of their children. But, their way of loving the children were completely different.

Xiao Wangye grew up free and unrestrained because he was greatly pampered by his parents and elder brothers. He was rarely disciplined, so he was used to behave however he wished. This point was clearly reflected in his methods of educating his own children.

But Beitang Yao Yue were the opposite to Xiao Wangye. Growing up, he received very harsh education. Beitang Ao controlled his children very tightly, and Beitang Yao Ri was a strict and responsible elder brother. So Beitang Yao Yue's way of raising his children were just as strict.

Due to these differences in their own upbringings, Xiao Wangye and Beitang Yao Yue's ways of educating their children were very different.

For example one day, two-years-old Tang Tang said to him, "Diedie, I want to eat osmanthus flower candy~~" He prolonged the last syllable.

Xiao Wangye said with a smile, "Alright. Diedie will buy some for you."

But Beitang Yao Yue's expression hardened, and he slowly said two words, "Not allowed."

As if feeling wronged, Tang Tang turned to look at Xiao Wangye. Xiao Wangye thought for a moment then compromised with Beitang Yao Yue, "Let him have one piece, then."
