Another date night

The song today is always forever by cults. It makes me imagine Corey and I on a date or at a fair or something 🤪🥴 so I thought it would be perfect

Friday
"Yesterday corey had called me and asked me if I wanted to go to the carnival with him after school. And of course I agreed to go with him." I told Riley and Gabriella. "I can't Believe you're dating Corey!" Riley squealed "Same here! But I am also surprised that no one knows yet, well I mean, if you don't count us." Gabriella added. "Yeah. I'm worried Morgan will find out! I mean if even one person see's or expects anything, the gossip will spread like wildfire!" The bell rang and we met up with the other girls. We were about to enter the building when we heard someone behind us say; "I'm so sorry I'm late! My brother held my mom back." It was Emily. "What's she doing here?!" Layla (who is another member of our group)  said. "Oh, I forgot to tell you all. I've invited Emily back into our group!" The girls looked at me with a confused look. "Turns out Emily isn't the problem, the real problem is Morgan! I know it sounds confusing, but I'll explain everything to you guys later! We can have a group sleepover tomorrow so I can tell you everything." "Sounds great! We can have it at my place!" Gabriella suggested. "Sounds like a plan then. See you all later!" We went to our classes.

My first class today is history, which I have with Corey and Riley. I grabbed my books out of my locker and went straight to class. When I got into class I realized that we have a substitute teacher, which meant we didn't have to follow the seating plan. So I sat beside Riley and in front of Corey and his friend. As The class settled down the teacher began to talk. "Okay class listen up! Miss Johnson will be away for a week or so, so I will be your substitute teacher! and by the way, where you are sitting now is your new seating plan for the rest of the time I'm here." Riley and I looked at each other and smiled. She wrote her name on the board. It said 'mrs. Ross".
The rest class was pretty boring. If it weren't for Riley and Corey, I would probably have died.

When class was finally over, I went to my locker to get my books for the next class. "You excited for later?" I heard someone say. I closed the door of my locker and was greeted to Corey. "Of course I am, but shouldn't we be trying to keep things hidden? So can you tel new why are we going to a carnival?" "Because Morgan is out of town for a whole month! That means we don't have to worry about her seeing us!" "Ok.... but what about all the other people that will be there?" "Let's just hope they know well enough to mind their own business." I laughed. "See you later, I should get going so I'm not late for class." I said. He nodded his head and gave me a hug. "Catch you later!" I smiled and made my way to math. (Ew)

(end of school day)

As I exited the school and walked down the stairs, Corey came to me and said; "Come with me, I can drive you to the carnival now instead of me picking you up later." "Sure, why not." He smirked and said; "alrighty then!" And we went to his car.
"Ou! I love this song! Turn it up!" I said while Corey turned the radio up. "Forever young, I want to be forever young" I sang along. "Your so cute!" Corey said putting his hand on my thigh. "Yeah I know!" He laughed and pulled into the carnival parking lot.

We went up to the ticket booth and got our tickets then made our way to the rides. "What shall we do first?" He asked me grabbing my hand. "We could do the Ferris wheel? I know it sounds lame, but it would be so fun just you and together up there" I said blushing. "Ok then, Ferris wheel it is! But after can do all the the spinning rides? They are my favourites!" I giggled. "Of course we can!"
We gave our tickets to the person operating the ride and got on. "I never want this night to end" he said.  I smiled at him as I buried my face in his chest. "I as well." He kissed my forehead, and I kissed him back. Then that turned into a make out session.

We rode every possible ride that we could! I was having so much fun with Corey. But thankfully no one was seemed suspicious like they might 'tell on us' or something.

After we went on all the rides we had gotten some Cotten candy. "I'm hungry" I said "same here, where you wanna go eat?" "Hmmm, how about anywhere's that has pizza?" "Sounds good to me!" I chuckled. We got in the car and went out to eat.

Corey's POV:
I was sad that our date was coming to an end. It was already 11:30 and I knew it was time to drive y/n home. "I had a great time together" she looked at me with her beautiful smile that made me fall in love with her to begin with. "Me too. I wish it didn't have to end, but you know my mother." "Yeah I know." He pulled into the driveway of my house. "Here we are." I said. I got out of the car to open the door for
y/n. Then I held her hand and walked her to her doorstep. "See you later Corey" "Yeah. See you later". I couldn't go just yet, there was one more thing I had to do. I leaned in and held her neck as I passionately kissed her. Her lips were so soft. I felt butterflies grow in my stomach as we kissed, nothing could ever compare to this. Y/n pulled away. "See you later corey" she said smiling. We hugged and and I kissed her forehead. "See ya." I watched her walk back into her house.

Y/n POV
"Looks like someone had fun" my mom said while I came inside. "How could you tell?" I said jokingly. "I don't know, maybe it's that huge smile on your face and that two minute long kiss you guys just had." She laughed. "you saw that?!" "Don't worry, he seems like a great guy, and I great kisser. You left your lipstick all over him. " She winked and nudged me and I chuckled. "You should get to bed now, it's almost 12:00" "yes mom!" I said walking up the stairs to my bedroom.
I flopped on my bed with butterflies in my stomach. "Nothing gets better than this!" I thought to myself. I can't believe I ever tried to stop us from dating. I laughed and got my pyjamas on.
