The battle at the Bontarian borders raged on for weeks. Both sides were fiercely determined to be victorious, but the Bontarian forces were quickly being forced back. The cyborgs and robots outnumbered the Bontarians 10 to 1. The King of Bonta had called upon the Wabbit, and Amaknian armies in an attempt to swell their numbers, but even that wasn't enough to compete with the onslaught of the Sufokian robots. If Sufokia managed to take the capital, it would only be a matter of time before they take the entire nation. This was the final tipping point for the entirety of the nations and failure was not an option. The air smelled of oil, blood, and sulphuric stench of stasis. The sun was blocked out by black clouds and purple lightning as stasis rain fell and decimated the forces that did not have the proper armor to protect them. The ground was scarred and burned. Massive craters were carved by huge blasts of stasis that came from the sufokian walkers and juggernaughts. Elely, daughter of the legendary Percedal of Sadlygrove, leapt into the massive fray from the Bontarian capital wall. "Alright you buckets of bolts..." she said as an orange aura enveloped her and her eyes began to glow. "It's about time I send all of you to the junkyard!" She bolted forward at blinding speed and, with her black blade, cut down every cyborg and robot in her way. She sliced a juggernaught in half and made a beeline for the shore. Not far off the coast, a weather tower had surfaced and was causing the stasis storm to gradually get more powerful. "Wait a second Iop brain!" the voice of her brother came through her ear piece, "The closer you get to that tower, the more dangerous it becomes!"
"That's why she's got me covering her back!" a voice came from above. Elely smiled and leapt into the air, right by Yugo. Yugo opened several portals that carried Elely along right to the base of the storm tower and boosted her momentum at the same time. As soon as she was shot out of the last portal the took her blade and swung as hard as she could. Her sword cut through the enormous base of the tower like a hot knife through butter and before the explosion could consume her, a final portal appeared in her path and she reappeared on the ground beneath Yugo. "Alright, that's one less thing we need to worry about now. You keep applying pressure where you can Elely, but don't overdo it" he said before taking off into the sky to send aid to the allied forces.
"He says 'don't overdo it'..." Flopin said into her headset, "But we all know that you just can't help yourself" Flopin turned his attention away from the falling storm tower and towards the masses of enemy troops advancing from the east.
"Yin, Dad!" he barked as he readied his armbow, "We have incoming from the east side!"
"Understood!" the Huppermage said as she beelined for the inbound platoon of cyborgs and juggernauts. "I'm gonna have to catch up with you, son!" Percedal strained. He was surrounded by sufokian forces. "Man, I miss Rubilax." He sighed as he gripped his ordinary sword handle and weighed in on the odds of him walking out of this alive. Suddenly, a figure dropped down from above and put his back against Percedal's. "You look like you're getting a little winded old man!" It was Goultard. Percedal showed a huge smile. "Oh please," he said, "this is nothing" The mechanical death machines in the front took a step back. With gleams in their eyes, Precedal and Goultard rushed forward and rampaged.
On the other side of the battlefield, Flopin finally caught up to Yin in order to engage the enemy advancing to flank the rest of them. Yin used her light magic to fire millions of light spears that homed in on the cyborgs and pierced them through their cores. But they just kept coming. Flopin fired several shots into the crowd and downed quite a few of them, but the two of them couldn't hold back the sheer numbers of the cyborg army. "Cra help us," Flopin muttered. Instantly, as if his prayer was being answered, a pillar of fire shot down from the sky and razed across the front of the army and halted their advance. Flopin looked up and saw Adamai turning to make another pass. The white dragon rained more fire from above, melting down the cyborgs and incapacitating them completely. That was when A loud buzzing sound could be heard. Flopin looked to his left and saw that the Sufokian's had flying mechs that were gunning it for Adamai. There were about twenty of them all firing stasis beams at him. Adamai gracefully dodged every shot but couldn't find an opening to counter attack. "Yin!" Flopin shouted frantically, "we have to help Adamai!" Yin nodded in agreement and took flight once again, this time leaving steps made of light for Flopin to follow her. He didn't get very far off the ground before several blasts of stasis whizzed by him and shot through Yin. With a blood curdling shriek, she fell to the ground and lay there motionless. Flopin also fell, but managed to roll out safely. "Yin!" he cried as he sprinted full speed towards her. He slid to her side and held her head. She wasn't responsive at all. Her body now housed several holes: One in her shoulder, three down her middle and two in her left leg. Flopin put an ear to her chest to see if he could hear a heartbeat. There was none. Yin Mareline had fallen.
