Mashiho's POV
I walked into the shared dorm and pulled on a shirt, as Minho, my roommate, chatted loudly on the phone with his boyfriend Han Jisung. "Come on." I said, slinging my backpack over my shoulder.
He hung up, we left the ornate Vampire Sect building, weaving our way to the main building, and stopped by our lockers before heading to morning classes. The species were all together for these, although everyone mostly stayed in their own group. My friends Jeonghan, Taehyun, and Park Jisung had saved a seat by them for me.
"Attention, attention!" Called Mr. Jung, who we called Mr. Hobi, from the front of the dimly lit classroom.
Everyone settled down, and he continued, "I'm pleased to announce that we will be joined by a new student, who recently transferred from the Institute of Darkness. I expect you all to welcome him and treat him kindly."
He turned, facing the door, and a dark boy several centimeters taller than myself walked in. He stood at the front of the classroom uneasily, shifting from foot to foot.
"Hello, everyone." He greeted. "My name is Kim Junkyu, and I hope that I will like this school." He commented stiffly. "Thank you Mr. Kim, now please find an empty seat and get situated." The boy nodded and sat down in the seat directly in front of me.
Demons were not excepted by the student body, the general opinion being that they were better off down under, so everyone shyed away from the nervous boy. But I honestly haven't ever seen the point in the prejudice .
I noticed him blushing slightly as Mr. H started the day's lecture. He's probably really embarrassed. I also saw that he didn't have the notes to reference, and I felt bad for him. So I leaned forward and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hey, do you want to look at my notes? I already memorized them." I asked, hoping I didn't sound snotty.
"Ah, yes, if it's not too much trouble." He said, blushing harder as I handed him the paper. "Hey, if you ever need study help, you could meet me in the library." I offered in a whisper as Mr. H droned on. He's kinda cute. This thought made me blush. I hadn't ever liked anyone that way before.
