Once again, it happened. The razor sharp teeth pierced her skin. Some blood dribbled down her neck, leaving a wet red path on its wake. She felt all her remaining energy leave. She hated it.
Shuu did as he said.
He sucked her blood and she didn't pushed him, wanting it to end faster.
After what felt like an eternity, she heard an annoyed grunt.
"You're boring. " Nothing else was said between after. She didn't even have the strength to turn her neck and look at him as he left the room. She just closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

She woke up again to some gently nudging her. She groaned, annoyed, she bets it was yet another leech. She turned around, making sure her back was facing whoever was trying to wake her up. She was exhausted.
It happened again until she built up her last her courage again and turned around to face her fate-
"Oh! Thank goodness. You're awake now. " A gentle smile made it's way to the young blond girl. Her eyes glinted with something akin to relief, happiness. Like she had waited for this moment for a while. It made Afuru brighten up just a tad bit. She sluggishly sat up and put her hands on her lap. She bowed her head, acknowledging the young lady.
"I'm glad you're awake! You've been asleep for 2 days now. I was scared and terrified, thinking you weren't going to wake up. Well, I'm being too pessimistic! " Afuru didn't know what to say.
2 days?!
Jeez, she felt like a cheap version of the sleeping beauty. She sighed and smiled at Yui.
"I see. Well, maybe we should introduce ourselves? " A suggestion but she knew it was a given.
Yui gasped and quickly bowed her head
"Hello, I'm Yui Komori! Nice to meet you! " Afuru bowed a second time and did her own introduction
"Afuru Deiji, nice to meet you. " She then felt a throbbing pain in her head, making her close her eyes and rubbing the bridge of her nose. Yui looked at her with worried embedded into her pink eyes, she reached out to Afuru and starting petting her back.
"everything alright? " Afuru nodded,
"Yes, I think my body is just mad at me for waking up. Haha. " Yui frowned.
"Maybe I should tell Reiji to let you stay home for the day. You don't look okay enough to go to school yet. " Afuru looked out, it was pitch black.
"School? But it looks like it's midnight.. "
"We all go to night school. "
What a drag.
"Do we wear an uniform? "
"Yes-"
The door was rudely opened then, cutting Yui's response short. Reiji, the second oldest, entered with a school uniform and set it on the bed.
"Both of you, get ready. We will be late if you don't finish soon. You can leave, Yui. " Yui nodded and looked at Afuru one last time before saying "I'll see you at the stairs. "
She left right after, leaving Afuru and Reiji alone in the room.
He took out a cranberry juice box out his pocket and left it beside the uniform.
"Drink that, it helps keeping healthy blood. " Now Afuru regretted drinking that juice box two days ago.
She quietly got up and looked over at rue uniform. It was... Very short where the skirt was. She looked at Reiji, who was already ready to leave.
"Can I put leggings under? I feel uncomfortable wearing it just like that. " Reiji said nothing and left.
"I'll take that as a yes. " She put the uniform on and some leggings, her legs completely cover with the smooth black fabric her leggings were made of.
She put on the black shoes that came with it and the school bag. She slowly made her way to the stairs. She saw Yui, who was smiling at her but also looked worried.
When she was just a few steps away from getting off the stairs, the dizziness she had felt for a while came back full force. Her vision went black for a second and she swayed before tripping on the last steps.
She felt delicate arms held her, so she wouldn't fall. She thanked Yui,
"No worries, " Yui looked up and saw Subaru, whose hands were hovering over Afuru.
Almost like he wanted to catch her.
"What is it Yui? " Yui shooked her head.
"Don't worry about it. "
