Me and Yeri just finished unpacking our food and putting them in their respective places.

I put on my sneakers and grab my keys, heading out the door while Yeri was taking a nap.

I walk down the road, walking to the road where a boba shop was. I walk inside the boba shop and took out my 20 dollars from my pocket. I order a (Type of boba you would like) and wait for drink.

Once I get my drink, I connect my airpods to my iphone and put some music on. I put my wireless earbuds on and take a sip of my boba and enjoy the fresh breeze.

A few minutes have past by and I hear a buzz from pocket. I take my phone out and see who texted me.

[You have one new message from "Jungkookie"]

I open the app to see what Jungkook has to say.

Jungkookie:
Hey...I heard that a new student is coming in next week.

Me:
Hey Jungkook!
Really? Who told you? Will he be in our grade?

Jungkookie:
A friend told me...
He will be in our grade, so yes.

Me:
Oh I see...
Watcha doin?

Jungkookie:
Nothing much....just listening to some music.

Me:
Oh...
Ill text you in a bit...Yeri is calling me.

Jungkookie:

I press the answer button on my phone to Yeri screaming.

"Y/n-shiiiii!!!!" She screams.

"Yes!~"

"On your way back, get some food. Im starving but im too lazy to cook!"

"Okay Yeri! Ill get some pizza!!"

She hums and I end the call.

Me and Yeri chat as we see the empty desks fill up in the classroom.

My eyes occasionally glance at the classroom door, waiting for the new kid to come inside the classroom.

My hands start to fiddle around with my pencil as anxiety flows through my body.

And thats when a blonde haired boy catches the corner of my eye.

The teacher follows behind him, her heels clinking.

"Good morning everyone! This is Hwang Hyunjin, the new student. Please welcome him with kindness and respect. Hyunjin, you may sit in the empty desk next to Y/n. Y/n, please raise your hand!"

"Hyunjin" is now identified.

Hyunjin: New Student/???

My face turns pale out of embarrassment as I raise my hand.

Hyunjin walks towards me and head bows after taking his seat. I head bow back and my cheeks flush red.

"Hey...my name is Hyunjin...nice to meet you." He says and takes his hand out for me to shake.

I shake his hand, "My name is Y/n...its nice to meet you too."

His hand was warm and soft. Our hands detaches from eachother and his touch lingers on my hand.

I suddenly realize that my hand felt cold and I was craving his warmth.

What is this feeling...?
