Goodbyes

A couple years later:

"Daddy, come taste the cookies I made" Kaylani yells from the kitchen. Kayani was 5 now. She was tall like her dad, hazel eyes, long thick curly brown hair. She looked exactly like Spence. She even had his little nose. She got lips and baking skills though, Spencer walked into the kitchen smiling like always. He grabs a cookie from the pan and bites straight into it.

"Woah pumpkin these taste awesome, I say they are even better then the ones at the fancy bakeries" he says tickling her stomach. Her little giggle fills the air. You smile thinking about how lucky you are. Spencer walks over to you giving you a gentle kiss. He places his hand on your stomach..

"How's little one doing today" he says, his head leveled with your very pregnant stomach.

"He's moving like crazy today" you say rolling your eyes. Spencer laughs grabbing your waist and kissing you again. You laugh pulling away from him. 

"Okay mommy if going to go lay down, while you and daddy clean up this HUGE mess" you tell Kaylani giving her a big kiss on her forehead.

"What we got to clean this all up" Spencer says looking down at Kaylani. You hear Kaylani giggle as you walk upstairs. You got in bed and just sat there. Placing your hands on your stomach. How did I get lucky enough to get this you asked yourself. You are basically living in a dream. I have your dream guy, dream house, dream job, the perfect kid and a new one on the way. You were just so lucky that was the only word you could think of.

Not much has happened these past years. Hotch rejoined the team but not as unit chief. Derek was still off with his son and wife. Garcia was still looking. Emily was talking to this guy named Andrew Mendoza. JJ and Will were still married. JJ's son Michael and Kaylani have become best friends. JJ and I have already discussed there future wedding. Luke has been talking to this girl. Matt had a another kid, that dude has like a new kid every month. Rossi is still happily married. That's pretty much it. It's been great. I enjoy every minute of my life. We already decided on a name for our baby boy. Spencer chose the name since I chose Kaylani's. Elijah Morgan Reid. I agreed to it I knew how important Morgan was to Reid. I am not due til September 15, that is not until another month. 

An hour later, you hear Spencer walking up the stairs

"Where's Kay" you ask

"She fell asleep" he whispers

He lays in bed next to you. Pulling you closer to him. You loved the feeling of being in his arms. He starts rubbing your head, playing with your hair.  You closes your eyes. Thinking about what the future might hold for you and your family

"I love y/n" Spencer says while kissing you along your jawline.

"I love you too Spence" you say falling asleep in his arms,
