Chapter 5

"Deku, Iida, Todoroki." Mr Aizawa called out.  As he listed the names of patrol groups you prayed that you wouldn't have to be paired with that asshole that you once called your boyfriend.

Please God, you thought I'll even work with Mineta! Just let me go at least a full work day without having to talk to him.

"Uruaka, Kirishima, y/n, and....... Bakugou."

Your heart dropped.

Damnit. Of course you never get what I want.

"That's all the assignments for today. Now go be heroes or something." Aizawa mumbled fighting off snores. After all these years he hasn't changed either.

"Hey y/n" Uruaka says to you. "I can tell Aizawa your situation, you don't have to-"

"It's fine." You interrupt. "We're adults i'm not gonna let some stupid, insignificant, no good, selfish, conceited, little boy stop me from kicking villain ass."

"Yeah that's the spirit!" Uruaka chimes "You got this!"

"I'm gonna go to the locker room real quick and then we can head out. I'll be right back."

Uruaka nods as you walk into the locker room full of rage.

How am I gonna spend the whole day with him. Seeing his face makes me wanna blast a hole in his chest.

You open up your locker and grab your arm gauntlets. These gauntlets are designed to support your arms when you shoot our earthquakes. It prevents the vibrations from bouncing back into your body and shattering your bones. You also use them when fighting close range and shooting out a blast might be too dangerous.

"Damnnnnn." you whisper to yourself banging your head on the locker door. "This is so unfair."

As you put on the gauntlets you lift your head up and lo and behold, the former love of your life is standing right at the entrance of the room.

His arms are crossed and he is giving you his signature angry glare.

"Wanna explain what the hell happened to my car?" he asked.

You could practically see the smoke fuming out of his ears.

"What are you 5?" he continued.

You slam your locker and marcover towards him stopping when you were only a few feet away. Usually you loved being around him, but now being in the same room with the one person you thought you would spend the rest of your life with made you physically sick.

"You broke my heart and that's the first thing you have to say to me?"

You look him up and down before continuing.

"I thought I said to never speak to me again. Unless it's not about work, I don't want to hear your voice. Get the hell out of my way."

"Answer the question y/n."

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way." you repeat, with malice dripping off every syllable. "Unless you want me to blast your ass like last time."

"Try it. I'll kill you."

You nod before stepping back and lifting up your arms aiming directly at his face. He stepped back into the same position aiming at you as well.

Before you two could fire the first blast, Iida walkes by and immediately tried to intervene.

"What are you two doing?" he yells running in between the two of you holding up his hands in either direction.

"It is against code to fight our co-workers! Stop this!"
