CHAPTER 1: Arrival Camp Campbell

(Heyo! this is my very first fanfic so it's gonna be pretty bad lol, but I hope you guys like it!)

Nicky's POV:

I was on a bus on my way to a place called Camp Campbell, a smmer camp by lake lilac, well....at least that was what my mother told me. It wasn't like they cared much anyways.  

I looked out the window, watching the trees and cars fly by the bus , it was pretty quiet and I had kept to myself the whole time but, maybe there was someone else was here too? I took a look around but only saw the bus driver, he kinda gave me the willies but oh well nothing I could do about it. All this was pretty new to me because my parents really never let me go out anywhere for long periods of time. but it felt nice I was just nervous. I reached over for backpack and take out plush toy that I had brought with me. It was a golden bunny with a white muzzle, blue overalls with hearts for buttons, and a blue sun visor (idk what they're called) on his head, it also had soft teal button eyes.

"hey Zipper.." I said to the bunny " are you nervous?....well...I know I am..." suddenly there was a thump followed by a girly scream and  the bus stopped, I got up from my seat in shock. did he just hit someone with the bus?! I walked nerovusly over to the door of the and the bus driver opened it  "new kids here" he had a rough old man voice, I quickly put Zipper in my backpack and put it on as I walked off the bus. when I got off there were two people standing in front of me, An adult redhead wearing a vest and green shirt with a pine tree on it, he had a smile plastered on his face and a few bruises here and there, was he the one the bus driver ran over? Poor guy, and beside him was a boy who looked about my age who had curly black hair and a blue hoodie. "Well hello there!" said the man"you must be Nicky! my names David, I'll be your camp counselor for the summer!" David smiled and reached out his hand, he seemed nice..I shook his hand "nice to meet you too", David smiled and took his hand away "Oh and this is one of our campers!" he pointed over to the boy standing next to him "Nicky this is Max, say hi Max!" The boy looked over to me with a frown on his face "Welcome to camp a**hole" he said, wow I could already tell he hated me "Max, language" David said to Max, he turned over to me. "I'm sorry about Max Nicky" I looked up at the man "oh it's ok I'm used to it" David gave me a slightly concerned look before speaking again "Ok! well Max how about you take Nicky on a tour of our camp!" David said cheerfully, Max had a disgusted look on his face " f**k no there is no way I'll-"  but before he could finish David was already gone, how was he so fast?! Max gave a small sigh "well follow me I guess" Max began to walk away and I follow him close behind. And after one look I could tell this would be on hell of a summer....
