CHAPTER 2: First Impressions

(I made bit of a fixer upper to the way I wrote the last chapter so this one should be a bit better, enjoy!)

Harrison POV:

I was backstage, shuffling some cards while brainstorming some ideas for some new magic trick to perfom , but it's not like it would matter, everyone thinks they're childish and stupid so they never come. David call out to the other campers "Everyone to the Mess Hall to meet our new camper!" Great, another person who'll make fun of my tricks...well..I haven't met them yet so who knows...maybe they'll be nice. I got up and headed towards the Mess Hall, I saw Nikki,and Neil headed towards the Mess Hall so I headed over to them. "So what do you think the new camper will be like?" Nikki asked Neil "I dunno as long as they don't act like an  a**hole towards us they're ok in my book" oh Neil such low standards, as I expected " yea, I just hope they like nature! so we can play wolves together! what about you Preston?" Nikki asked, I thought about it for a moment "well...I just hope they like Magic" I said with a small smile on my face. Nikki and Neil looked at each other before breaking into laughter "yea like thats gonna ever happen, c'mon Neil!" Nikki said going infront of them  "yea Harrison just admit it, your tricks are garbage" Neil said as he gave me a pat on my shoulder then walked off with Nikki into the Mess Hall. Hmph, whatever it's not like the understand anyways, my heart sank a little after what they said, but I shook it off and walked into the Mess Hall.

Once I walked in everyone was already there, "Alright looks like everyone is here!" David said in his annoying cheerful voice " Campbell Campers I'd like to introduce you to our newest camper Nicky" he smiled as the new camper walked out from behind them. looked over at them and....oh god...they're cute...her long brown hair slowly shifting in the wind...her sweet smile and- wait what are you thinking you just met them! pull yourself together Harrison! "Howdy Nicky!" Space kid waved. The new kid- I mean, Nicky waved back "hi it's nice to meet you all, I hope we can be friends" she gave a little cute smile oh my gosh her smile is beautiful, "well anyone have any questions?" David asked, I saw Max raise his hand. "yes, Max?" "what the f**k is up with your eye?"  Max pointed at Nicky's right eye, it looked like she was blind from that eye and it had a buch of scars around it too... "Max! it's rude to ask questions like that!" Daniel scolded him (yes Daniel works at camp campbell) Nicky looked up over at Daniel  " it's alright Mr. Daniel I don't mind, I-I just had an small accident a few years ago thats all" was it me or did she sound kinda nervous when she said that....was it really a small accident? it for sure didn't look like it....(dunno Nicky's acting kinda sus lets vote her out) "well if you say so" Daniel said and gave Nicky a smol pat on the head, "alright now that we've all asked our question you guys can go to the activites field, and Daniel you can go take our new camper to their tent to get set up!" David said, we all went out of the Mess Hall and headed towards the activity field. they seem nice maybe we'll get to be friends....

Nicky POV:

I watched as all of the other campers walked out of the Mess Hall, some talking among themselves, I hope I made a good first impression.... once everyone was gone, Daniel spoke up "alright lil one let me show you the tent where you'll be staying" he gave me a small smile, I smiled back and nodded. Jasper went head of me and we walked out of the Mess Hall, he gave me kind of a weird cultist vibe...It was weird but I just shook it off. I followed him through the activities field where I saw all the others, I looked around and saw them doing different activites like painting, musical theater, punching..a..kid?...uhh ok...and science too. thats weird I thought this was baking camp, oh well, beggers can't be choosers I guess. after walking for a bit more we finally reached one of the tents, and Daniel finally spoke up "well here we are kid, you'll be sharing this tent with our magician kid, Harrison" (OK I KNOW ITS WERID THAT HE'S SHARING A TENT WITH A GIRL BUT THERE WILL BE BOUNDARES DONT WORRY) hmm...Harrison....they sound nice... "ok Mr. Daniel, thanks" I smiled a bit "oh please just call me Daniel" he gave me a pat on the head "well I'll let you unpack your things and once you're done you can go hang out in the activities field!" I nodded and Daniel walked off. I went into the tent and started to unpack, not that I had much to unpack anyways since I'd only brought some clothes, my sleeping bag, a pillow and a blanket, and also Zipper who I'd managed to sneak past my mom. Once I finished setting up my stuff, I got up and headed over to the activites field, maybe I should get to know the other campers...

(900 words....wow, I'm impressed me. well anyways I hope you liked chapter 2! sorry it's so slow progressing, thats just the way I write but I llike to think it makes for a better story! stay tuned for Chapter 3! ^^ ba bai ya'll!)
