You take in a breath as the dawns' humidity continues to bear down on you. Trees surround you completely, orange light glowing through green leaves. Animals scatter about in the moving undergrowth as night threatens to take over any lingering shadows nearby. You sit on your knees while glancing at the half full basket of the items you were requested to get. You blow your bangs out of your eyes and quickly glance around. The feeling of being watched immediately overwhelms your senses and you hear something crash close by with a loud thump.

You slowly push yourself up to a standing position, hesitantly walking toward the noise. You immediately freeze in your tracks as your heart skips a beat or two. You're (e/c) eyes lock onto a shadowed silhouette leaning against a tree just like in your vision, making you curl your fingers into fists. You try to force your body to move instead of freeze up while struggling to find the right words to impress how ticked off you are. He casually steps into the light, smirking at your frozen form.

"Look what the cat dragged in," he says and begins to circle you like a feral cat examining it's prey.
"What do you want from me?" You shout in anger as he props his head on top of your left shoulder.
"Just checking out the shape-shifter's new little toy," he whispers in your ear, making a shiver go down your spine.
"You have the wrong person," you mumble while looking around for the way you came from. Unfortunately, with night occurring so quickly everything looks the same.

He's rather tall with a lanky build. His pale skin glows in the dim light, his glowing yellow cat eyes flickering with amusement. Black cat ears poke out the sides of his head as his black hair slowly fades into a blonde shade. A black t-shirt with a stitched together green rabbit printed on it, blue skinny jeans, and vans make up his outfit. A black collar with a skull pendant and three black rubber bracelets are wrapped around his right wrist.

He stares at your birthmark carved into the crook of your neck while his ears move forward in curiosity. He goes to trace it, but you swiftly elbow him in his ribcage harshly. He clenches his jaw tightly as he stumbles backwards. You use this chance to shove him to the ground and start running in a random direction.
You race deeper into the woods, dodging multiple low tree branches. You force your legs to move faster as you hear footsteps chasing after you. You quickly jump over a boulder, your feet hitting the ground. You continue running while glancing behind you to see that strange guy right on your tail. You stick your tongue out at him and your feet immediately get caught on a tree root.

You gasp in surprise as gravity takes ahold of your body. Pain plunges into your ribcage, your side colliding with a pile of purple flowers. You turn over on your back while struggling to breath. You curl your knees toward your stomach, your hands laying outstretched next to your aching sides. Your head begins to pound and something wet drips down your left eye.
You blink, noticing he's sitting on the edge of the ditch. He gazes at you with a puzzled expression as his eyes take in your injured frame. You try to push yourself upward, but you end up landing on your side. Your eyesight becomes blurry and darkness threatens to take over your body. The last thing you remember is the advice you were given, your eyelids closing without your permission.
