It has been a few months since the whole conference and drama in the Kim corporation. Nothing happened a lot, but Taehyung slowly started withdrawing from the entertainment industry.
He started reducing the number of events he accepted, posting less and less content on social media, and practically trying to disappear from the sight of public.
Entertainment industry is a cruel place. Their are so many people trying to make it work that if someone slows their work, their is a high chance of them disappearing in the crowd of people trying to achieve the success and working harder.
And that's what Taehyung was doing. He wants to get lost in the crowd so people will loose interest in him. In that way he will not have to think about paparazzi following him or people recognizing him. When he will try to work toward his revenge.
The company too work hard enough to get Taehyung what he desired. Soon a couple of new male models were signed by them and were given a lot of work assignment along with resources to push them forward to success and replace Taehyung . Which was what they intended too.
Their was no doubt Taehyung enjoyed modeling, at some point of time he even wanted to continue being a model but now when he think back. He really don't want a life where he is continually under watch, where he will be discussed among a group of people.
He wanted a life where he could spend time with people he love and cherish.
So now as Taehyung laid over Jungkook's lap drawing random pattern on the male's chest and his another hand held a very old photo. He looked up at Jungkook, " why didn't you tell me... That you were my Kookie.... "
Jungkook just chuckled and leaned his head over to kiss Taehyung's head, " why should I?? I am hurt you didn't recognize me... At first.. " Jungkook fake pouted.
And Taehyung just smiled sheepishly to be honest, after living two lives. He don't remember his middle school boyfriend even a little bit after living two whole life. So he just decided to drop the subject off, " oh weren't you cheating on me with Jennie..?? "
" ugh.... For fuck sake... Jennie is my cousin... Your brain is full of crap.. " Jungkook snorted unable to control laugh bubbling at the pit of his stomach.
And although Taehyung was embarrassed about thinking like that he still threw a relatively large cushion on his husband who was still laughing so hard that there were tears at the corner of his eyes.
Taehyung pouted dramatically at his teasing husband.
But he felt at peace, the peace he had been looking for so long. He felt at home, this was all he wanted but why did he have to go through so much... Just to get the happiness.
He closed his eyes leaning more into Jungkook.
Tomorrow will be a big day for him.
