CHAPTER XXVII- Baechu

Irene POV

I am already in the school, I keep thinking about what happen last night.

"Hyunnie?" I mumbled

I remember Seulgi calls me Hyunnie in her sleep and now she really calls me Hyunnie. Does that mean I'm that Hyunnie? Or maybe I'm just imagining things? I should stop thinking about it.

I'm staring at the white board when someone give me flowers.

"Kamjagya!" I look up and its Seulgi with a tulips.

"Hi, baechu" she tries to wink but she just do a eye smile.

"Flowers for you" she smile and I gladly accept it. She knows I like tulips.

"Pft, you can't even do wink" I mumbled

"Well yeah, I'm practing though" she sit on her chair

"You are calling me Baechu now"

"Hyunnie doesn't suit you" she chuckled

"Or you just remember your first love" I smirk.

She mumbled something that I didn't hear because our professor arrives.

Wendy POV

We are eating our lunch now, its just me and Seulgi. Jisoo and Jennie have a meeting while Byul is at Seulgi's house.

"What happen to Byul?" I ask her

"I don't know, I left her in the house earlier still sleeping"

"Maybe it is related to Solar"

"Maybe, she never drink that hard if she don't have any problem, I'll just ask her later" she said

"And I have something to tell you" she looks so happy while saying it

"I am courting Irene" she exclaimed,she widely open her arms and yell. And it feels like I got stab in the heart, I tried to make a smile for her.

"Are you crazy?" I ask

"Yah, you know Irene is my first love, my hyunnie but now I'll be calling her baechu"

"You should tell her in front, that you are Gom, that she met in her childhood"

"Did you forget? She lost her memories"

"Why don't you make her remember?"

"Hella no!, Its too traumatizing, even me still having nightmares about it" she shake her head and eat.

"Does its still give you trauma?"

"Yes, I just drink a pill, you know I'm still scared of duct tapes and cable ties"

"But you are getting used seeing duct tapes"

"A little, just don't make me see a cable ties, I will really collapse" she chuckled

"Speaking of Hyunnie she is here" I point her and Seulgi look back

"Baechu!! Here!" She wave her hands happily and I see Irene smile and approach us.

"Hi Wendy"she greets me with a smile and sit down beside Seulgi. I also smile to her.

"Where did you go earlier?" Seulgi ask her

"Library, just looking for some books"

"You should have told me then I'll come with you"

"You really sleep well ha"

"Ahh right, I sleep"

I am just looking at them happily but deep inside it hurts.

Irene phone suddenly ring. Seulgi look at it and snatch her phone

"Yah!!!" Irene want to get it but Seulgi is tall

"Hello, Irene is not available right now and she will never be available to you, don't call her again" she ended the call and gave it to Irene

"Yah!!! How can you do that?"

They both sit down and Irene is angry at her.

"Who called you?" I ask Irene

"Taehyung, tsk" Seulgi answered with a sarcastic tone

"Idiot" Irene mumbled

"Yah!" Seulgi yells

"Why?!" Irene yells too

"You're cute" Seulgi smiles and Irene smile a bit

"Oh I see it, you smile" Seulgi tease her

"I'm not" Irene continue to eat but Seulgi keep nagging her

"Let me see you smile again, hmm? Please? Jebal"Seulgi do a cute face but Irene slap her back, I choked a little bit while laughing

"Yah! Don't laugh!" I can't stop but too laugh at her she approach me and try to cover my mouth.

"Don't laugh!!"

"I won't" but I keep on laughing

Irene POV

So cute, looking them teasing each other makes me smile. Seulgi being childish while Wendy being mature. They are really close.

Someone caught my attention, there's a guy looking at us with a deadly glare. I suddenly became scared, my hands become to tremble. What is this? What am I feeling? Who is he?

"Baechu?"

"Irene?"

"Baechu!!!!" Someone yell, I go back to my senses and Seulgi snapping her fingers infront of me

"You okay? Who are you looking at?" Seulgi ask

"I'm fine, I just remember something"

"About what?" She looks worried, "nothing, its not that serious" I chuckled.

"Okay" she sit beside me and continue to eat.

I am walking to the bus stop when suddenly someone tap my shoulders that makes me flop and scream.

"Hey baechu its me" I heard but I still covering mu eyes

"Irene its me, Seulgi, baechu" I slowly my eyes and I see Seulgi being anxious.

"Are you okay? Why did you scream? I am to cute to be scared of" she chuckled

Tssk, it makes me scream because I remember the guy staring at us deadly earlier.

"Hey, baechu! You okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine, sorry" she help me stand.

"Its too embarassing many people looking at us" I chuckled but she still have a blank expression

"Don't lie to me, are you okay? You are trembling earlier too" so she noticed

"Earlier.... I saw a guy looking at us deadly, I got scared, maybe he will do something bad to us" I look down then suddenly she hug me

"As long as you are here by my side, I will protect you and will always be there for you" she let go and do a smile for me

"So tell me if it bothers you again, I'll find that guy and beat him up" she laugh slightly

"We still aren't dating and you're acting like that" I tease her, her smile fades.

"Dating or not, I will protect and will always be there for you" she smile and mess my hair

"Tssk" I smirk

"So when will you say yes to me?"

"Never" I said and walk away

"Aiggoo my baechu is really cold" she follows me to the bus stop

I stop and face her

"Stop following me!"

"I told you I'll protect you, so just imagine I'm not here, I'll be looking out for you"

I turn around and that's make me smile. She is so cute. She is always make me smile at the same time feel annoyed, but I like it.

Gosh! What am I thinking? The bus arrive and I enter the bus, she still follows me, I already sit and she is in the back. It would have been nice if she was my bodyguard, hehe.
