CHAPTER XXI - I'm here

Irene POV

"Okay, class dismissed" The professor said and leave the room.

All the students leave the room. I look at the table beside the window, its still empty. I haven't seen Seulgi for one week. I hope she is fine.

I stand up and walk to the canteen. I'm walking at the hallway and I bump into Tzuyu and her friends.

"Look who's here" she said, I ignore her and just walk pass her. She suddenly grab my hand.

"I'm talking to you!" I remove her hand

"Ah, is that so?" I crossed my arm

"You!!"

"Why?? Do you think I will not fight you just because you are popular here?"

The students are now looking at us.

"You really wanna go against me ha" she push me to the wall

"Just because Seulgi is by your side, you can do whatever you want" she added

I push her strong that makes her stumble.

"Narrow-minded" I roll my eyes on her

"What did you say?"

She suddenly stop when someone block her way. She is infront of me.

"Woah, are you already the leader now? Don't tell me you also like her. It will be a big twist if Seulgi will know this"

"I'm just doing what Seulgi ask me to do, and Seulgi like her not me" she said

"Do you think I'm a fool? I haven't seen Seulgi for a week, I'm sure that bitch has something to do with this" she points me

"Watch your mouth" As soon as I step Wendy hold my arm, and shake her head.

"You even don't know what happen and your talking like that" she lets go of my hand

"If Seulgi tolerates this kind of behavior of yours, well I'm not! If you don't want to feel shame don't go near any of Seulgi's friends" she slowly approach Tzuyu

"Trust me, You don't wish to mess with me" Wendy said

Tzuyu just look at us and walk away. Wendy face me.

"Are you okay?" She ask

"Yes, thank you for saving me, I didn't know you are like that"

"So what did you think of me?" She smirk

"I thought you were just a quiet, sweet and caring person" she suddenly smile

"I maybe like that but I hate seeing my friends in trouble" she tap my shoulder

"Are we friends now?"

"We are already friends, you already know it" she giggles

"Huh?" We are already friends? When?

"Ahm,...yeah were friends, I need to go now, see ya"

"Wait a minute"

"Huh? What is it?"

"Will you tell Seulgi about what happen? Can you not tell her?" I know she is having difficulties right now, I don't want to be a burden too.

"Even if I don't tell her she will know, so its better if I tell her, I don't want her to be angry at me since the person she likes is in trouble"

"Is that so? Thank you again"

"See ya" she wave her hand at me and walk away.

Seulgi POV

Its 9pm now, I'm in front of Irene's house. I heard everything from Wendy, I should have been there but I still need to take care of our family's business.

I'm really having a hard time since I still don't know anything and my parents is still in the hospital, I am waiting for the updates of my sister.

The gate suddenly open so I turn around so no one will see me.

"Seulgi?" I should have enter the car instead, I'm such a fool.

I turn around again and see Irene at the gate carrying a trash bag.

"Good evening" I greet her, I'm smiling so akward.

"Why are you here at this hour?"

I want to see you, to gain strength from you.

"Ahmmm, I heard what happen earlier so I came here, are you okay?"

I want to hug you right now.

"I'm fine, Wendy help me" Its a relief Wendy is there.

"Is that so? Go back now, its cold, I'll go now" she just nod at me, I turn around and start to walk but she suddenly hold my arm.

Irene POV

Flashback

"Byul, Can I ask you something?"

"Yes sure" she replied

"Where is Seulgi? I haven't seen her for three days already"

"Miss her?" She makes a weird smile

"Huh? I'm just asking! Who told you I'm missing her? Tssk"

"Just teasing you" she laughs

"So where is she?"

"At her family's company, she's been working there nonstop"

"Why? I thought her sister is taking care of it"

"Seulgi's parents involved in a car accident so Sunmi unnie go back to the US immediately, Seulgi was left here taking care of the business. She is just waiting for her sister's update. I bet she is already having a hard time but she doesn't call us and she doesn't want us to visit her"

"Is that so? Thank you"

I should have talk to her more when she texted me, I was too cold at her that night. I feel so guilty.

I hold Seulgi's arm when she turn her back at me.

"Are you okay?" Her eyes tell me she is sad.

She face me and smile.

"Ofcourse, I'm fine, why did you ask?"

"Ahm.. It's just...ah.." I remove my hand

"Wae??"

I don't know what I'm thinking but I just hug her.

"What's with you?" She ask and I hug her tightly.

"Nothing, I know what you are feeling now so do what ever you want, I'm here"

She hug me tightly and I pat her back slowly.

"It's fine, your eyes tell me everything"

She then suddenly cries in my shoulder. I should have known you are having a hard time then I'll talked to you more that night.

"It's okay, everything will be fine" I pat her back.

"It's okay, you will be okay, just let it out, I'm here"
