Short story of Kongpob and Arthit who are friends of same circle and have been close friends as Kong and Arthit's brother are best friend from ages

"I don't understand why you hate me! Am damn sure not because of the pranks I pull!" he says as he pours coffee into 2 mugs and gives one to me.
"I don't hate you and hate is a strong word" I clarify him taking a sip of coffee.
How in the world I can hate a handsome boy. It's how I try not to fall for him more and more. I know we can't date. He is my brothers' best friend and my friend has a crush on him for a long time now.
"Can you both stop your bickering; I would be happy if I can spend my morning peacefully" Aklit said shutting us up.
Thanks to Aklit and Kongpob, even I am famous as Aklit' s little brother. We are one of that famous groups which every college has one. Aklit, Rita, Kongpob, me and Kria.
Kria have been crushing on Kongpob from the first time she saw him but never confessed to him. It was something like love at first sight for her.
We always tease her, but she has strictly told us not to let Kong know about her feelings and this is another reason I don't want to fall for him.
But Kria didn't know that Kongpob already got a girlfriend and we didn't expect him to bring Lily to have lunch with us. We never liked her, as we knew her intensions of becoming famous by joining our group, but we couldn't say anything here as we didn't want to hurt Kongpob's feelings.
This time I can see he is liking her genuinely and now I know I need a distraction too. I could see Kria was uncomfortable looking at the new couples and she wants this lunch to over as soon as possible so that she can run away from this awkward situation.
Aklit is known for his looks and he has been planning to be part of this year's student council and he wants to run for president position, and he has been working hard for the upcoming elections.
Me and my friend Kria have been helping him with the campaigning and we are getting a good response but Aklit is worried about the outcome as he thinks his opponent is strong, but we all know that guy is a bully, and no one will vote him.
Next month, its Ria's 20th birthday and she is excited and started preparation for it already. Even though she is one rich girl, she never brags and always humble towards others, but her birthday party is an exception. Everyone is invited and anyone can join us.
After the lunch we were heading to our respective classes. Me and Kria were running on the busy corridor as we were running late just to bump into some hard chest. I looked up to see Jake looking down with his beautiful brown eyes.
"S-Sorry"
"It's fine, no one gets hurts when a beautiful boy bumps"
He is brave enough to talk to me today!
"Am not beautiful" I say but I can sense my cheeks turning red.
He is such a sweet guy.
"You are beautiful Arthit"
"Thanks"
"A-Arth, I wanted to ask you out on a date from many days" he says looking straight into my eyes.
"Sure, I would love to"
Shit! Stupid you didn't have to reply that fast!
"Do you have any plans this weekend? We can hang out in our house! I mean my parents are out of town and we have the house for ourselves"
"Sure, even am comfortable hanging out at home" I said after making plans for this weekend.
I knew he would ask for date soon; I mean I know he is attracted to me. I should make this work as I like him too and it's a good distraction from Kongpob.
Kria couldn't stop making fun of me as I was acting like a stupid boy and agreed as soon as he asked, not even thinking for a second!
Weekend
"Arthhhh, where are you?" I hear Aklit calling me.
"Coming Aklit, are you dying or what?" I asked irritatingly as I have to finish my homework before I go for the date with Jake.
"Please help me with the cooking, girls are coming here for the lunch and we want to cook something special for them" asks Aklit in his innocent looking face.
"Sorry bro, I have date today and I have to finish my homework before that" I say trying hard to not stare shirtless Kongpob.
"Woww, you have date" that was the Kongpob directly staring at me.
"Yes, Jake is picking me at 5 and we are gonna have date at his home as his parents are out of town"
"Home? That's not a good start! Go slow sunshine and he not a gentleman to ask you to come home for first date" Kongpob started teasing.
"Don't call me with nick names and he is a gentleman, at least he doesn't prank me like someone here" I said mocking.
"yes, yes I can see what a gentleman" he said trying to imitate my voice.
"Just stop bickering guys, am fed up of your cat fights" Aklit shouted which made us shut our mouths.
"Then please take care of your cooking am off here as I have to finish my homework" I said and came back to my room.
