Last weekend Kria called me and said she has something important to talk and asked me to meet after college alone. We met after college and I could sense she was nervous, but I didn't know why she was though!
"hey Kria"
"Hi Kong"
"what happened? Why you asked me to meet me suddenly? Anything serious?"
"Sorry Kong if I made you worry, I wanted to tell you something about Lily but don't know how to say it"
"what about her?"
Before she could say anything, I saw Lily and her friends walking towards us, I was about to call her but Kria stopped me and made us hide behind bush.
We heard Lily and her friends talking as they stood little far from where we were hiding but their voice was clear enough for us to understand,
"Lily, again you missed lunch with us and went with your so-called boyfriend and his friends" Lily's friend complained.
"You know right! It's hard to make them believe that I really like Kongpob and be a part of that group"
"We know but do you really think they will believe you?"
"with my acting they will believe, I told Kong that my parents are divorcing and I have to shift with one of them and that stupid bought it and he has been consoling me saying it's fine and we can make this work even if it is long distance"
"hahaha, he fell hard for you, didn't he?" said one of her friends making fun of me.
I was about to go out and confront them but Kria stopped me and I had to control my anger.
"Wait for some days and I'll make you all join that group and we can be famous too" she said as they walked away.
Next day I spoke to Lily on this and she apologized to me and said she'll be herself and don't act like a victim and all. So, I gave her a second chance and tried to make this work but the Lily I liked was the fake one who was sweet to everyone and treated everyone with respect.
We tried hanging out, but she was rude to people and her words were harsh. Then I realized, the real Lily and I can't be together it's just not me who pretends to be happy.
Yesterday when she said she is coming over, I wanted to breakup with her and that's why as a farewell I cooked for her, even though I knew she never liked me I couldn't be rude to her.
When we were talking yesterday about the issues we have having and me being uncomfortable around her, you came knocking when she was trying to stop me from breaking up and was trying to kiss me. I was about to give in to her but thanks to you that I was able to control myself and talk to her as you knocked.
Even though she didn't take it well, I am fine as I don't have to see her being rude to others.
