Mae's POV

I'm still stuck in this dark room nothing but shattered glass around me. I laid there watching Luke. His head on my arm , he's probably sleeping. I will try anything and everything I can to get out..not just for me , not just for him but for everyone who has ever cared for me. I closed my eyes and kept in the tear that was about to fall from my eyes. I opened my eyes and got up. I walked and walked around and around..until I saw this door. It was a normal door nothing special about it. I walked over to it , placed my hand on the door knob and twisted it, not caring whether what was on the other side. I just needed to get out. Within seconds the door opened and filled the room with light. My eyes were getting heavier and it wasn't long til' I realized they were closed.

Beep... beep ...beep

I opened my eyes and saw that I wasn't in the dark room anymore. No broken glass anywhere. I looked around , this room was different. It was white. I was lying down in a bed. My arm felt heavy so I took a look. A blonde haired boy was sleeping on my shoulder. This was the boy I loved , this was the boy I tried to get out for. This boy was Luke Hemmings , possibly the love of my life. I smiled .. I was finally awake after all this time trying to get out .. I moved my arm a bit and he woke up . He rubbed his eyes.

"M- mae?.."

His eyes widened and it wasn't long until he ran to open the door and started calling for nurses. I don't know how or what even happened but i'm awake now. I can finally be happy with Luke. I guess this is the end of this little roller coaster called life....
