It was a rough day. The bounty was a hard catch but we managed it. A few near death experiences but that's expected sometimes. I could tell Jet was exhausted when he sat down and rested his tired eyes. He deserves alot of appreciation, and I try to give him that when I can. I turn on the radio and some light jazz plays softly, I walk over to him and sit next him, leaning against him a strong arm comes down to hold me.
He sighs from the day and looks down at me.
"How are you doing?"
He gives the top of my head a kiss and I snuggle againts more, trying to get more comfortable.
"Better, now that it's just you and me here."
I look up at him and he gives me a whole hearted smile.
"Do you want something to eat?"
He suggests and it's my turn to smile.
"In a bit. I just wanna be here a little longer."
He nods and kisses my temple, I hum at his soft kiss and glide my fingers over his calloused knuckles. We don't have to say much to know we care about eachother, it's the little things and moments that show it. Also cuddling is nice until, Spike or Faye come in trying to embarrass the both of us.
"Fine by me. I can be here all day."
