Third Person's POV
"Why are you two together?" Chanyeol had an angry expression. "Channie, it's all a misunderstanding." Mimi said. "Don't call me Channie! I can't believe you did this to me." Chanyeol yelled at her. "Let me explain-,"Mimi got cut off by Chanyeol. "I don't want to hear anymore! We're over!" Chanyeol left the room.
The situation was like this...
Mimi had been Chanyeol's girlfriend for a year and both of them are the most popular students at Meadows High School. These days Mimi is secretly doing something not letting Chanyeol know and have been meeting with her art teacher, Mr Kanata, a lot because she wanted some advice for her painting. Chanyeol is depressed because Mimi had been busy.
And today after school while Mimi was painting, Mr Kanata confesses that he had liked Mimi ever since he met her and backhugs her. Mimi struggles to escape his embrace and at the same time she had her two hands on his two hands, Chanyeol happens to see the whole thing.
Back to Chanyeol leaving the room...
"Sorry, Mr Kanata. I only love Chanyeol. Also a teacher loving a student is forbidden. Thank you for your help. I will be leaving." Mimi got the painting and all her art stuff and left the art room. Tears start falling from Mimi's eyes. "Chanyeol, why won't you listen to me? Do you love me?" Mimi thought. Mimi soon saw Chanyeol from the window running out the school gate. Mimi went home.
Mimi's POV
Now everything I do is useless. Chanyeol won't even listen to me now. I was going to finish this painting and give it to Chanyeol for his birthday which is the day after tomorrow but now we're over. My heart hurts and I couldn't stop my tears. I really love him. Chanyeol, it's all a misunderstanding.
The next day...
Mimi and her best friend, Karen, were talking on the rooftop. "Oh, how sad. It was all a misunderstanding. He was even your first love." Karen had been Mimi's best friend since kindergarten. "I don't know what to do now. Look at this painting. I drew it as a present for Chanyeol but I haven't finished it." Mimi showed the painting to Karen and her tears start to fall from her eyes. "No wonder why you're the prodigy in the school. Not only smart but athletic but pretty." Mimi smiled and wiped her tears. "But not as pretty as Britney, the prettiest in the school. I just need to draw myself next to him then " Mimi said. "You should try to talk to him now. He might want to talk to you, too." Mimi stood up and went.
Mimi's POV
I need Chanyeol to know it was all a misunderstanding. I love Chanyeol. The times we've spent together were the greatest times of my life. I don't want to let him think that I'm now with Mr Kanata. I ran down the stairs and searched for Chanyeol only to see him holding hands with Britney. He was smiling. How can he move on so quick?
" Chanyeol!"I called him. Everyone looked at me and was whispering to each other. I walked towards him. "What do you want? Didn't I tell you that we're over?"Chanyeol had the same angry expression he had on yesterday. "Let me explain." I grabbed his hand but he smacked it away. "No, on yesterday I saw Mr Kanata hugging you in the art room!" Chanyeol said it in front of everyone. "No, it's not tru-." I got cut off by Britney. "I can't believe the prodigy of the school would be dating a teacher." Britney said holding Chanyeol's arm.
I can't believe that the person that i love would make me humilated in front of everyone. I was shocked. Tears were falling again. "Those tears don't work on me." Chanyeol walked off with Britney.
Third Person's POV
There was an announcement on the loudspeaker that was for Mr Kanata and Mimi. "Mr Takumi Kanata and Mimi Lee, please come to the principal's office." Mimi was in a serious situation.
"Mr Kanata and Mimi, do you know what you two are doing?" The principal said. "..." Mimi could not speak because she was shocked from before. Mr Kanata just stood there not saying a word. "Mimi, you know the rules of the school. Also you, Takumi." The principal looked disappointed at the two. "If the rules weren't like this then I would've said congrats but I as a principal have to follow the rules. Sorry but Mimi, you're expelled and Takumi, you're fired." Mimi left the principal's office and took everything, that belonged to her, home.
Karen went over to Mimi's house and saw Mimi painting in her room. "Mimi, I heard what happened. Are you okay, Mimi?" Karen asked. "Yeah, I am. I just need to fix some things around for this painting and then I can give it to you so you can give to him." Mimi was still smiling even of what happened just today. "Why do you still love him even after what he did to you?" Karen said. " It all happened because of a misunderstanding." Mimi continued painting. "You're good-tempered." Karen patted Mimi's head. "Well, I have enough money for myself to move to another place and to another school." Mimi was writing something in a piece of paper and placing it in an envelope. "It's because your family is rich but they live overseas." That was one of the secrets that Karen know about Mimi. "Here is Chanyeol's gift and give this letter to him too. Tomorrow is Saturday and you can give it to him on his party. Also I'll text you when I move so I could give you the new address." Mimi started to pack all her stuff already. "Ok, I'll give this to him. K bye." Karen left the house. "Bye." Mimi waved goodbye.
At Chanyeol's party...(it is taking place in Chanyeol's house)
"Chanyeol, is it true that Mr Kanata and Mimi are dating?" One of Chanyeol's friends said. "I just saw them hugging each other in the art room." Chanyeol replied. "And did she say that it was all a misunderstanding?" Karen appeared right behind Chanyeol and Chanyeol faced her. "At that time, you were angered and you wouldn't even let her explain anyway, didn't you?" Chanyeol was shocked from what she said. "We should talk in another place." Karen said.
They went to the backyard since no one was there. Karen grabbed Chanyeol by the collar. "You f*cking retard, I told Mimi yesterday to talk to you because I thought you would calm down from what happened and would want to know what actually happened but instead you moved on to Britney and made Mimi humiliated in front of everyone. BECAUSE OF YOU, SHE GOT EXPELLED!" Karen was in rage. Her best friend was expelled because of the person her best friend loved.
"She was looking forward to giving you this present for your birthday and she wanted to come to your birthday but now she wouldn't. Read the letter that she wants you to read." Karen had tears in her eyes. Karen shoved the present to Chanyeol in full force. Chanyeol's stomach hurt from the shove. Chanyeol teared the envelope and opened the letter and started reading:
Dear Chanyeol,
Happy Birthday! The painting is a gift for you. I was going to draw myself and you in the painting but after our break-up, I changed it to you leaning on a tree when playing the guitar. The painting looks good right. It took a while to finish this. I didn't even get a chance to tell you that day Mr Kanata hugged me and confessed that he loves me. I tried to escape his embrace but you came in and you were angry. After you left the room, I rejected him. Do you know why? Cause I only love you. To you, this break-up might mean nothing but to me it is painful. The times I spent with you were great and I will never forget them. From now on, I will not love anyone. I don't want to make the same mistake again. By now you must've heard that I was expelled. I don't blame you. You're the person I love, that's why. From now I'll disappear from you. I'm not angry or anything. Do you want to know my feelings now? Nah, I won't tell you. Anyways hope you and Britney have a great future. Hope you like the painting. I'm glad you're the first person I love and the last. I don't even know if I could still call you Channie. Well, thank you and goodbye. Happy Birthday! ^_^
Chanyeol looked at the painting. He started crying. "It was all a misunderstanding. Mimi....why are you so kind to me even at this time?" Chanyeol was seen by everyone inside the house hugging the painting.
