Eren returned to the room again with another bowl of soup and handed it to Historia who looked stressed. "What?" Eren sat down and watched her have a crisis.

"Two days..." Historia mumbled to herself as she took the bowl from Eren. She started eating in silence.

Eren just watched her, she appeared to be in deep thought. They stayed silence for a good 20 seconds before Eren opened his mouth again. He wasn't one to keep quiet. "You aren't gonna ask me any questions?"

"No.. why?" Historia looked up at Eren confused.

Eren took a deep sigh. "Your ignorance really aggravates me. You almost got raped, just witnessed me kill three people, passed out, woke up in a random room with a random guy and have no questions? You're quite oblivious."

"Oh..." Historia just shrugged. "I guess I just trust you."

"Trust me? We've just met. I don't even know your name."

"My names H-." Historia stopped herself. She almost gave away her whole identity. It's true she trusted Eren but not enough to tell him she's a literal princess. "My names Christa..."

Eren started at her blankly for a few seconds. "Well.. Christa.. you're a dumbass."

"That's rude." Historia pouted and Eren rolled his eyes. "You should be scared of me, any normal person who witnessed the other day would have been terrified. Did you see the looks on their faces as they went out." Eren chuckled to himself.

"I'm not scared of you. You seem like a nice person. And you saved me from those soldiers."

"I didn't save you- and I could be planning on doing bad things to you right now."

"I know you won't do anything to me. I trust you."

Eren was actually surprised at her faith in him. She probably gets taken advantage of so much in life because of how nice she was. She has absolutely no fear, which is needed to survival. Eren wondered if she got herself into situations like the other day often.

"You're not gonna ask me to take you home to your parents?"

Historia looked up and thought about it for a second. "Hm.. no. I like it here much better than home."

"Don't you miss your family?"

"No.. I wanted to get away from them."

"So you're a runaway?"

"I suppose you could say that" Historia smiled at him. "Wow, So I killed a few people and am now hiding a runaway on my house. The police are going to be on my ass." Eren laughed at his own joke and Historia just looked at him. "You think you're funny don't you?"

"I do. You wouldn't know anything about humor, you're just a child."

"I'm nineteen."

Eren looked at Historia puzzled. "You look like a 12 year old."

Historia glared at Eren, she was not impressed. "I guess you skipped puberty or something- by the way you look quite familiar, I feel like I've seen you somewhere." Eren leaned in and stared at Historia. "Uh.. This is the first time we've met, I just have a common face maybe." Historia looked the other way so Eren couldn't observe her face any longer.

"Perhaps." Eren stood up and walked out the door leaving Historia in the room.

Sigh...

Historia Laid back down and stared at the ceiling and drifted off into deep thought.

Is father looking for me..?

She couldn't help but wonder. Historia has attempted many times to run away from home and was always caught or found. But this time she actually got away with it. She always ran away and never understood why she did it in the first place. She didn't know how to survive on her home because she's always been sheltered in the palace. What was she trying to accomplish? Where would I live? She always asked those questions but deep down inside she knew the reason she ran away was because she wanted people to worry and care about her.

After loosing the only people who cared about her she craved and longed to be loved again.

I miss Ymir..

After laying in the bed for a few minutes she decided to get up and stop feeling sorry for herself. Her body aches all over but she managed.

Historia stepped out the door and there was a stair case in the distance. She walked down the stairs and immediately recognized the area.

He lives in here?

She spotted Eren in the distance sweeping the floor around the tables. "I see you've decided to get up finally." Eren turned to Historia as she approached him. "You live in the restaurant?" Historia asked as she looked around the rather cramped room. It had small tables around the room with about 4 to 5 seats to them. And a long bar table with drinks and cups behind it. The walls were decorated with pictures, some of them of Eren. The place was gave Historia a very comfy vibe.

"This is a bar.. and it's mine." Eren bent down to the ground and swept some crumbs into the dustpan. "Wow.. you own your own place..? And what's the difference?"

Eren chuckled and walked over to the trashcan and emptied the dustpan. "You're really clueless all the time.."

Eren looked over at Historia and they stared at eachother for a while. "I'm about to open up again you can stay down here or go upstairs, because of you I had to close for the meantime."

"Why did you close?" Historia walked up to Eren.

"Because.. it's difficult to clean up blood and bullet dents.. and disposing of bodies is time consuming." Eren said walking over to a bullet dent and rubbed it with his thumb.

Historia wasn't phased. Eren imagined she'd get sick of him and report him to the police or something. But she didn't comment on his abnormal behavior or even give a reaction.

For the first time in a long time Eren found himself interested in someone. It annoyed Eren how she wasn't scared but it also intrigued him.

Out of nowhere Historia gasped.

"What is the matter?" Eren looked at Historia puzzled. "I left my horse at the river!"
