After an hour's drive we arrived at the house. I woke the kids and Luke took the bags out of the car. Noah looked at the house with wide open eyes.
"Are we gonna celebrate Christmas here?" he asked. "Yes." I said. "So cool." he replied. "What do you think Emma, do you like it?" I asked. "No." she said. "You're safe inside the house and wolves rarely attack humans." I replied.

I unlocked the door to the house and walked in. I haven't been here for a very long time. Everything felt so different. A shadow passed me and I turned around. I couldn't see anyone. "Hello, is there anyone here?" I asked.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and a scream left my mouth. "Luke, you scared me." I said. "Are you okay?" he asked worried. I took a deep breath and calmed down. "I think I saw someone." I said. He looked around but he couldn't see anyone either.
Emma came in and she saw the fear in my eyes. "Did you see a wolf?" she asked scared. "No." I said. "We're totally safe here." replied Luke clamly. "Don't worry Em, I'll protect you." said Noah. "Thank you." she replied and gave her brother a hug. "I don't let anybody hurt you." he said.
Luke wrapped his arms around me and I smiled. "Noah is wonderful brother to Emma." I said. "He is." he replied and kissed my cheek.

The night came and the full moon lit up the dark sky. I was lying in the bed, but I couldn't sleep. I picked up my locket and looked at it. I sighed sadly.
