Olivia's (POV)

Weve had a full week of fun, cuddling, and just getting to know our girl; I could not be more in love with my little family. Today we must take little Erina back to the city hospital for a checkup and x-rays, along with a visit to the police officer handling her case. I can say I am definitely not looking forward to the day.

I sigh, rubbing my forehead as I finish up some paperwork for a project one of my publishers needed a second opinion on. As Im putting the papers away I feel a tug on my pant leg and look down, my baby is sitting at my feet drooling and cooing up at me. I reach down and bring her into my arms, snuggling her and giving her lots of kisses which makes her giggle in delight.

"Is my baby having a good morning?" She giggles and coos, talking in her baby talk, making me smile and awe at her. Shes been crawling a lot more lately and has even been back to walking some when shes in big head space. It seems like forever ago that Grace and I found her, shes come so far.

"Erina Steel, where are you baby girl?" Grace calls out. I hear giggling and look down to see the most adorably mischievous face.

"Is my baby doll hiding from Mommy?" She giggles, looking at me now with her most sweet and innocent face. As Im laughing I call out, "In here Babe!"

Erina pouts and sticks her tongue out at me, so I tickle her to cheer her up. "No hides from Mommy for now Baby."

She giggles and coos, just as Grace sticks her head in the room, sighing. "There you are Monkey; Mommy needs to finish dressing you. We have a long day today."

Erina whimpers and holds onto my shirt, making me awe but shake my head. "Mommys right, baby doll. She needs to get you ready; Were leaving in a few." She whines and pouts, but nods before reaching up for Grace. I kiss her before she goes to her mommy.

"Im ready when you are, babe. Garret is outside ready to go as well." Grace nods and kisses me.

"Give Momma kisses baby, so we can go finish dressing you." Erina giggles and leans over, giving me sloppy baby kisses

"Baby slobbery kisses," I groan and rub my face, but still smile widely.

Erina and Grace both giggle as they walk down the hallway. Shaking my head, I clean up and lock up my office then make my way downstairs to the girls. Margaret, Deedra and Callie are watching a movie; I smile, sneaking up behind them.

"BOO!"

All three of them jump and yell, "AAAH!" I giggle as Callie tosses a pillow at me.

"You ass! Not cool, and this isnt even a scary movie."

I giggle, nodding. "Well, still got you all! Also, just letting you know were leaving for the city, for you know what." They all nod, wishing us luck as I head outside to see Garret holding the car door open.

"Oh, how I missed you Garret! You know I hate driving myself," I greet him, then give him a smile and a hug.

He laughs and nods. "I know Maam and I'm glad to see you as well."

"I know I said a month, so dont worry, today is the only day Im bugging you."

He smiles, shaking his head. "Quite alright, Ma'am. I needed a reprieve from the little ones."

I laugh and nod, just as Grace comes out holding Erina and the diaper bag. I walk up to them and kiss them both, taking the bag.

"Garret put the car seat in earlier, so were all good." Grace nods and we all get in, heading to the city.
