The days passed and we met up almost every week and called throughout the hours of the day. His calls and text were the highlight of my day, it gave me a reason to smile and wake up. Normally during the summer I would sleep all day and barely take care of myself. Now, I finally had a friend. Whenever I had a panic attack or anxiety I would call him and he would come over and take care of me. We spent the night together a lot so we traded hoodies a lot since his house was always cold. My favorite memory of him was when we were watching a movie and he hugged me. I remember feeling his heartbeat beat, his warm hands around my body and in that moment I felt loved, or affection. That's normal, right?

We were hanging out in Tsuki's room playing some games. He seemed kinda down.

"Is something wrong?" I asked as I tried winning in Mario Cart.

"Nothing, I was just thinking," he answered, seeming to be forced on the game.

I looked over at him, only one question on my mind, "Hey, Tsuki, could I ask you a question? It might be a bit personal though."

He simply shrugged in response, "Go ahead, I wont mind."

"I'm really sorry, but, why dont you hang out with other people? You seem to only hang out with me," I awkwardly asked, not being sure how to word it.

Tsukishima thought of his for a second before answering, "Well, in school I'm considered rude or just an outcast so I dont have any friends. I dont mind it though, dont worry." He looked over at me, only catching him out the corner of my eye, "What about you?"

I felt bad for asking him. I knew how it felt, I only had 3 friends in school, only getting them this year from the volleyball team.

"Oh, I dont really talk to them, you could meet them if you want!" I suggested to help cheer him up.

He just shrugged in response before going back to playing games. We played all night long and ended up falling asleep on my floor, only to wake up the front door being slammed shut. I stood up and walked to the door to see my dad, drunk and angry. He kept cussing under his breath and yelling put for me. I cautiously walked out, forgetting I hadn't told my dad about Tsuki being here.
