A few days later
Brooklyn's POV
"Happy birthday bug" I whisper in tae's ear. He shifts around a bit before shooting up and giving me a big hug. "Brookie I misses you." He pouts and I smile giving him a big hug.
"I'm sorry tae I was out doing a few things." Which is true I had to go and buy him some gifts and also check on Dakota because she was not answering my calls.
"Oh were you with Kota?" He asks frowning. I nod my head smiling a bit. "You're with her a lot." He says following along with a tiny sniffle.
"What's wrong bug?" He looks down and fiddles with his fingers. He only does that when he's upset or lying about something and I'm guessing he's upset.
"Is it true you love Kota more than me?" He asks I frown and pull him into my lap this is really random. "Where did you get that from?" I ask lifting his chin. He sniffles again and I see a few tears going down his Rosy cheeks. "Dakota." He says In a whisper I almost couldn't hear him.
"When did she say this ?" I ask genuinely confused because the last time Dakota was here was around a week ago. "She said it when we were watching cars and you went potty." I frown remembering it a bit.
I did go to the bathroom but I thought mom was there as well. "She hurted me too." He says a tiny sob comes from him. "Can you show me baby boy?" I ask he nods and lifts his shirt and pulls his pants down to where it shows his hip. "Right there." He points at a noticeable bruise. how did my parents not see this?
"Have you told mommy?" I ask and he shakes his head no. "Why not?" I pull Him back on my lap. "I'm scared." He whimpers. "It's okay we don't have to tell them." I pull him closer and lay down on the bed. "It's okay tae I got you."
Now I don't know what to do should I tell my parents? Should I confront her? I don't know maybe I should ask her about it he might be lying but then there is proof.
Fuck I'm screwed.
