I ducked under the water, swimming close and pulling her under with me.
I gestured for her to follow me into the tunnel I had found.
We hit an air pocket, removing the nose plugs and goggles.
"What is this place?" I asked rhetorically, not really expecting an answer.
"Not sure," my goddess replied. "Let's check it out."
I heard moaning and screaming from the distance and bolted toward it, Artemis quickly catching up to and out-running me.
She motioned for me to slow down, and we proceeded with caution.
My Artemis opened the door to the room that seemed to be the source of the noise, revealing something neither of us needed to see.
We quickly closed the door and ran back the way we came, not stopping until we were at the field, far from the water park.
"They could've put a sock on the doorknob or something," Artemis muttered, pressing her palms to her eyes.
"Yeah," I agreed. "Athena and Poseidon shacking up in some secret sex tunnel really wasn't something I needed to see."
There was shouting from behind us, and my girlfriend informed me that Dionysus was making her another unsuccessful attempt to court a goddess.
This time, Hestia.
I moved to intervene, but Artemis caught my hand. "She can take care of herself."
So we watched, and sure enough, Dionysus was sent flying toward the trampoline park.
"Good shot," I complimented.
Hestia cracked a grin that seemed to run in the family. "Practice makes perfect."
She noticed Artemis and I holding hands. "Are you happy together?"
"Yes," we replied, almost in unison.
"That's all that should matter, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise," Hestia advised.
My lover smiled, nodding. "Thank you."

After that encounter, we made our way to the trampoline park, snagging some snacks from the vending machines outside the gates.
I took a bite out of the cookie my boyfriend was holding, and he pouted jokingly.
Looking around quickly, I gathered that there was nobody in our general vicinity.
"What?" Percy asked. "Did I do something?"
I shook my head. "Just checking for people before I kissed you."
My lover held my waist as I kissed him, my eyes fluttering close for a moment before I pulled away.
As we walked the rest of the way there, Percy cleared his throat. "I realized that your birthday occurred over your hunting expedition, so you didn't get a chance to celebrate."
I kissed his cheek. "I'm listening."
"I also came to the realization that our one year anniversary of dating is coming up soon," he said.
"Mmhmm," I agreed.
"I was wondering if you would like to go on a romantic cruise for both of them," Percy suggested.
I nodded, kissing his cheek. "That sounds like a great idea."
"When do you want to go?" My lover asked.
