ASHLEY'S POV
The day went by pretty quick with Ahkeem working on our daughters' room and me basically sleeping the whole day. Earlier we went to an Italian restaurant and the food was AMAZING!
I'm definitely going back there with my mom. Speaking of, she called me earlier and said she's about to get on the plane so of course we said a short prayer and now I was more eager to see the love of my life, for now.
My dad was coming during the weekend cause of business. He said he'd speak to Ahkeem about the fine he's supposed to pay for getting me pregnant out off wedlock. It was hella expensive back home so I wish my dad wouldn't stress Ahkeem so much about finances when we're about to have a baby. It's too much unnecessary stress and drama so he'll have to wait.
"Does Casey have a second name?" I asked as Ahkeem painted my toe nails.
"No. I'on want non of my kids to have a second name" he said shaking his head like I just said something stupid.
"Why?" I asked confused
He rolled his eyes, "exactly, why?"
I smacked my lips and kicked him lightly. "I'm serious, why?"
"I'on know babe. None of my siblings have second names but it ain't nun serious." He smiled looking at me.
"My dad would want my daughter to be Bella Woods." I laughed cause my dad protective like that. "But he knows that you'd do anything for your kids without anyone asking you to so he wouldn't deprive you of that."
"Nah but besides that, I wanna be there for my kids man. Nothing scares me more than the fact that my son will meet the girl of his dreams and eventually start living for someone else. And how my princess will fall in love one day and take another man's last name. I'on want that man. I wanna live for them, work for them till i can't walk, give them everything they want so they'd be my babies forever, But I know it's the circle of life I'll have to let them go." He came up to me and hugged me softly.
I know Ahkeem has major FOMO and because he's parents weren't there for him so he wants to do and be the best for his kids. I can already see him with Casey. He never wants to leave him for too long or if that's the case he'd call him and speak to him for hours till the poor kid falls asleep. I think I'll have to teach the kids to say 'I love you' to their dad everyday cause that would mean so much to Ahkeem.
"Aww babe, you're the second best daddy I know. I know Casey will want you to teach him how to treat a woman and since you're improving in that department, you'll do just fine. Of course he'll get someone like me; smart, beautiful and humble so don't worry baby. And as for Bella, she has 5 most protective men in her life already. You, my dad, Calvin, Casey and Nasir. 5 beautiful men with big hearts and guns so she should be a virgin till she's at least 30 years old. Just don't be scared baby, she already loves you and she's already a daddy's girl." I kissed his nose relaxing more.
"Thank you baby. I know Casey loves you too much and my daughter will be so beautiful man! Damn, she better get it from her mama." He slapped my ass, making it jiggle and after that he went dumb on it. "Fuck baby. You wanna marry me tomorrow?" He asked kissing my butt.
I laughed nervously thinking about what he said. "She got it baby." Would he really wanna marry me?
Why wouldn't he? I mean look at me. Now look again.
"You would say yes if I asked you right?" He asked raising his eyebrow.
