"Hi mom! It's so nice to see you!"
"You too honey! I'm so happy we could reschedule. I have loads to tell you!" My mom said instantly sitting down at the counter.
"Before you say anything. I'd like to introduce-"
"I met someone for you!" She blurts out. I look at her confused.
"What do you mean? You met someone, for me?" She nods enthusiastically.
"Yes! He's tall and handsome! He works at the nursing home with me!" I was speechless. She's never done this before.
"I- but mom. I thought you were going to let me find the right person." At this time, Jimin walks in from his room.
"I'm sorry. Am I interrupting anything?" My mom turns around and gasps.
"Oh my. Y/n did not tell me she was already seeing someone. What's your name young man?" He smiles at my mom and bows.
"My name is Christian. So nice to meet you ma'am."
"Well mannered. That's good. So Christian, how long have you been with my daughter.?"
"Oh, mom we're-"
"A month and a half now. It will be two months next week actually." He says, his smile not fading. I look at him confused.
"Oh my! Sweetheart! You spent all this time with this gentleman and hadn't told me!" I look at Jimin and he mouthed 'just go with it'
"Umm, yes. I didn't know when to tell you." I chuckle. She squeals and gives me a hug. She then takes Jimin's hand and puts us together. I held my breath when she did this. While reading one of the books from the library, it said angels could tell someone was a demon just by touch. But, she looked unfazed.

The rest of my moms visit went well. She never found out about Jimin. Even though a couple times I could see his eye color change slightly. He kept on saying he had a headache. When it was time to go, I helped my mom pack her things and walked her to her car.
"I know about him."
"What are you talking about mom?"
"I remember him. His father had the devils take him."
"How, do you know?" She gave me a sad smile.
"I was friends with his mother. She was so kind. I was pregnant with you at the time."
"Oh.." I say quietly.
"I know you can help him. You're just like your grandmother. I was waiting to give this to you, but I think now is best. Here." She takes her necklace off and puts it around my neck.
"This will help in due time. Just trust your instincts and never doubt yourself. Love you sweetheart."

"So that's the necklace? It looks so beautiful. How is it going to help us?" I shook my head.
"I'm not sure yet. But I might know someone who would. When I went to the library, the lady that helped me had a similar necklace on. Same crystal, different design. Maybe she would have an idea on how this will help you." Jimin looked closer at the crystal around my neck and squinted.
"There's writing along the metal part. Did you know that?"
"What? No, I didn't see that. What does it say?" He placed the crystal in his hand. Not even a second later, he pulled his hand away and hissed in pain.
"Oh my god! Are you alright!" He nodded.
"I can't touch it. Can you read it?" He opened his hand to show a black burn mark in the shape of a halo.
"I'll figure out what it says later. Let me help you with your hand. That looks awful." He looked shocked at the mark. I couldn't quite understand why he looked happy, but also sad at the same time.
"No no. It's ok. I'm ok. Let's figure out what your necklace says." He said, trying to hide a smile. I flipped the necklace over and looked at the words.
"I can't understand it. It's in a different language. Maybe we should go back to that lady at the library. She knew a lot about angels and devils. She may possibly speak, or know, this language and can help us decipher it." I jumped up off the sofa and went to go get my purse and shoes.
"C'mon jiminie. Let's go see her... Jimin?" I looked back at him and he was still sitting down looking at the mark, smiling.
"Hey Jimin. Let's go." I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked up at me.
"Sorry, I'll go get my shoes." He went back to his room and came out with his shoes and one of the books from the library.

"Why are you taking that?" I asked as we walked down the street.
"Oh! I had a question for her as well. I was going to show- I mean ask her." He said. I looked at him confused.
"C'mon. Let's go." He took my hand and we headed towards the library.
