Amelie's pov

I was with my brother and Joshua at the mall. Josh was sick and was going to the doctor. Bryce offered to take us to the mall because it was going to be Joshua 1st birthday party. We were going to pick outfits for Joshua me and josh.

Once we found Joshua outfit we decided we would wait for josh and my outfit cuz we most likely would match

Once we got home I saw that josh still wasn't home
Amelie: Bryce has josh texted you?
Bryce: uh not actually that's weird
Amelie: maybe there's a lot of people at urgent care or something
Bryce: but he would have texted us
Amelie: imma call him

I called him but I went strait to voice mail
Amelie: I think his phone died or something because it went strait to voice mail
Bryce: let me try

The same thing happened

Bryce: maybe it did die
Amelie:welp we will find out soon

Skip a couple of hours

I was exhausted Joshua was being fussy all day until I heard the door open

Amelie: finally you're here what to you so long
Josh: uh there was a lot of people
Amelie: why didn't you answer my calls tho?
Josh: uhh my phone died
Amelie: oh
