A Little Jealousy ✔️

Just a random plot, read at your own risk. Mentions of smut ,though not much, pointless plot which came to me while reading a comment on a video about the mentioned award show. Also many things are just my imagination, so don't relate with facts.

It was the night of Tencent Starlight Awards. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan were both going to attend the function, along with Wang Zhou Cheng and others.
It was one of the award functions they had to attend along with many more waiting for them. No matter how many events they attended, it seemed like one more popped up as soon as they attended and were over with one.
No matter how much backlash The Untamed has suffered during and prior to its shooting, but as soon as it aired, the haters just disappeared.

Though there were comments about things but nothing which they hadn't faced before.
In fact the amount of backlash that the whole crew had suffered seemed worth it when the drama was on air and the amount of support and popularity it got just pushed the negatives to a corner.

The worst had been Wang Yibo's birthday live session. That day the boy not only got to read some of the most hurtful comments but also some of the comments even questioned his gender. It was a known fact that Yibo has been always teased and even subtly regarded as feminine. Even though he hated such remarks, he couldn't outright tell people not to call him a girl now, could he ?

Whenever he heard someone calling him girl, his face would become more blank and cold, and he would give you a cold shoulder throughout the day.
And this was a something Xiao Zhan had learnt the hard way.

During a photoshoot and interview with the BAZAR, when they were getting ready; Xiao Zhan had lifted Yibo's skirt a little and when Yibo asked him why he was doing so, he simply replied that he was just checking his gender.

Though Xiao Zhan didn't get the cold shoulder but after that day ( even if Yibo wanted he couldn't because it would suggest that he wasn't comfortable with his co-star; and this fact was a blessingfor Xiao Zhan!), Yibo didn't talk to him or bothered him for three days. On the third day when Xiao Zhan finally confronted Yibo on this matter he simply ignored him.

Later when he was simply scrolling through internet, he thought of searching the topic of his problems and what he found shocked Xiao Zhan.
Not only Yibo had been called feminine before but was also regarded as one because of his blond hair in his UNIQ days. He had even been harassed due to it, some even suspected that he dyed his hair black upon returning to China because of this very reason.

After finding out the reason behind Yibo's behaviour towards him, he had simply dashed towards Yibo, grabbed him and told whoever was with him that he was borrowing Yibo for a second and dragged him to their joined room as fast as he could.

Needless to say Yibo hadn't been even able to blink, one minute he was talking to Liu Hai Kuan, the next moment he found himself being dragged by Xiao Zhan whom he had been avoiding for two days in a row. When they reached their room Xiao Zhan locked the door first, checked for any other chance of being heard and then started rambling apologizes at a break neck speed, but a finger on his lips and his rambling stopped as if a switch had been turned off.

He looked down at Yibo, those almond eyes held a spark of amusement and gratitude and a soft smile was on that face, just like the one when they had shot the lantern releasing scene.

" You are forgiven Zhan ge. "

Xiao Zhan didn't know why but he had felt as if a weight had been lifted off his chest and he sighed, but then he noticed the finger on his lips and feeling a little mischievous, he licked it like a kitten.

Yibo immediately removed his finger and his ears, they were bright red along with his cheeks.
" What are you doing Zhan ge ?"

Yibo squeaked. This gave Xiao Zhan more confidence and he stepped a little closer that Yibo had to tilt his face upwards to face him.
