Inside ones mind

Detention

I would say that I woke up this morning before doing my morning routine but that wasn't the case. No I didn't sleep at all. Can't wake up if you don't go to sleep. Regret my life decisions because now I'm trying to stay alive in a double further mathematics when I can barely keep my head from crashing into the table for a quick nap.

"Conri Yoshikari. Stop wasting time. Come up here and hand in your homework." The teacher Mrs Bailey said.
"I'm sorry miss I left it at home"
"And what's it doing at home!" Mrs Bailey was starting to get very angry. Why is it that math teachers are always angry.
"Having more fun than I am" I whispered to myself causing some other girls in the class to laugh.
Mrs Bailey smacked her cane on her desk.
"Very well you've just earned yourself a detention you will stay in class after school hours until your worksheet is done. Understood!!!"
"Yes Mrs Bailey" i said to tired to think which accidentally caused me to yawn.
"Ohh your bored of my classes are you!!!! GO TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE. NOW!!" She yelled. I let out a sigh and went out of the room off to the principals office once again. You see I'm not a bad student. I DID do my math sheet. It's why I got no sleep last night. I was in a rush to get ready for school that I left it on my desk. Sitting on a chair outside the principals office I pulled out my phone to let the time pass by. I'm pretty sure the principle just likes to let the students sit outside so others can walk past and humiliate them asking them "what did you do" etc etc. but I really couldn't care less.

"Conri?" Looking up I see my childhood friend Gerard Jin walk up
"What are you doing here"
"I forgot to pack my maths work sheet and Mrs Bailey got mad like she always does." I groaned sinking further into my seat.
"Ohh sounds fun" he said taking a seat next to me."
"I'm in the same boat really but with history" I thought that was strange since he's always getting good marks and never is late to hand anything in.
"Huh. Your never handing anything in late. Ever. Everything has always been done on time?"
"Yeah well I was helping you with math remember." Oh shit. He's in detention because of me and I didn't even remember to bring the math sheet we worked so hard on to hand in.
"I'm sorry"
"It's all good. I don't really care for history anyway."
"YO GERARD WHO'S THE CHICK!"
"Inside voices Ben"
"Sorry Alex kinda got caught in the moment"
"That doesn't even make sense" the two boys argued at one another until they reached us.
"This is my childhood friend "Conri Yoshikari. Conri this is Ben park and Alex Go"
"Ohh Gerard has told me a lot about you two. Oh yes that's right he calls you the gay couple of Eunjang high. That's sooo cute. I've never had gay best friends before" i said to them only to see Gerard burst out laughing and Ben and Alex with dead inside expressions.
"Well sorry to disappoint you but we are not gay. We are just childhood friends." Alex said with a blush on his face due to the humiliation that just occurred.
I turned to Gerard and punched him in the gut.
"Why would you spread rumours like that. That's so mean" I said. Which just caused the other two to snicker as Gerard was on his knees holding his stomach with a pained expression.
"Your a lot stronger than you look." He said letting out a groan in pain.

"Conri I will see you now" the principal says completely ignoring the pained Gerard on the ground and the other two still snickering. Entering the office the principle sat down at his chair.
"Why are you here"
"I was up all night completing my math homework with Gerard helping me. I didn't get any sleep and I accidentally left it at home. Mrs Bailey doesn't believe me and have a an after school detention. Then when I yawned because I was so tired she said it was because I was bored of her lectures."
"Well are you"
"No. Well math is math. I'm not bored of it but I don't enjoy it either. However I did the work. And Gerard helped me. And I just found out he gave up his time to help me and didn't do his history homework because of me."
"Hmm. Well go home collect your worksheet and hand it in by the end of the day. Gerard is off the hook too. I know he tries in all his subjects. He has another 3 days to do it."
"Thank you Mr Wayne."
"Anything for you my dear"
I was a little confused by this but just shrugged it off. Walking out of the room I grab Gerard's arm.
"Your off the hook. Your welcome. Let's go"
"What about us. Alex and Ben said"
"Nope sorry" I said before dragging Gerard away.
We parted and went our separate ways. I walked home and collected my math sheet but also noticed a little card on my bed. "How strange." I picking it up I placed it in my bag and headed back to school.

End of the day...
Free from detention I headed off to the general store and stocked back up on food. Carrying by bags of food home I unlocked the door and headed inside.
Only to notice another little card on the jacket rack. And on the counter.
"Ok this is weird." Dispersing of my groceries in their appropriate spots I collected the cards and went to the living room to open them.

The first card read.
Dear my beloved Conri. You know I'll always love you. Your mine you know that.

Signed your beloved.

Huh. Wtf. I don't have a beloved. I've never even had a boyfriend.
Opening the second card.

Dear my beloved Conri. I know you live alone. I should come and join you someday. It's an offer you can't refuse.
Signed your beloved.

Opening the last card with trembling hands I nearly screamed.

I'll come tonight to see you at last. Face to face. I'll finally get to take you for myself. No one else can ever touch my girl. Your mine. And I knew it from the day I set eyes on you. I love you.

Signed your soon to be husband.

"WHAT THE FUCK!!!" I begin to panic and soon find myself running out of the house and off to Gerard's. "It's not safe here. It's not safe here."
I thought as I ran all the way to Gerard's.
"Gerard open up" I said nearly crying.
The door sung open to reveal Gerard Ben And Alex.
"Conri what's wrong!?!" Gerard said pulling me inside and closing the door. I handed him the letters.
"Someone has been entering my house and leaving these." 
Gerard Ben And Alex read and where instantly disgusted. Gerard gave me a hug before picking me up and putting me on the couch to rest. I grabbed a pillow hugging it tight and rocked myself. My knees hugging to my chest with the pillow in between.

To say I was scared was an understatement. I was terrified. Mortified   The boys agreed that I should stay at Gerard's for a few days. Soon Alex and Ben left and Gerard and I watched anime for the rest of the night. Feeling a lot safer I fell asleep to the sounds of My Hero Academia.
