"Yo ace, toss a couple sodas" ace reached into the fridge and tossed the cokes. Cope caught them with ease.

"It's time for you to meet the boys." I was frozen. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Five totally different people. I am looking for all their approval. What if they hate me. what if they think I'm ugly. what if they think I'm funny looking. I can't deal with this kind of pressure.

He pointed to a blonde shaggy hair blue eyed skater type looking dude. he looks as if he could do great things but he never applies himself. Skinny boy, jeans and an oversized white shirt. It lets you know that he doesn't care much. black vans to represent his skater persona.

"That there is Sam, Sam is forever perfecting his tricks. If he's not on his board he is with us or sleeping but never wasting time."

"Then you have cha- "

"Charlie Xavier bronco III," he grabbed my had and kissed it just after interrupting Copeland . " Pleased to meet you, and may I say. you shine like the full moon in a desolate night sky."

"Anyways, we call him Bronc. feel free to make up your own."

I noticed someone open the door abruptly. Cigarette in mouth. Smoke emanating from his clothes. singing. his headphones in and mimicking crazy rocker type moves. Head banging, guitar playing, aggressive drum solo. he was really into it. And when he was done he was just waiting for the applause that never came.

"The crazy one in the crew is Taz. He can't seem to stay still. he always has to be doing something. And he gets these random attacks were all you see is the back of his head. Hence Taz, "Tasmanian devil" if you will."

"Playing chess with himself in the back table is Adam. He's the only one here kicking himself in the ass for not passing. quite sad actually. poor boy tries so hard. Never gets it right. Over achiever that one."

Wow ok I feel kinda relived I relate to someone in this group. praise whatever God blessed me.

"And of course you've met Ace. Ace is my right hand man. my best friend."

You can hear the rest of them go ayeeeeeeee in the back. " anyways I count on him for anything. you wanna know about me. ask him. and there you have it. the infamous crew."

"Come, I wanna show you something." he grabbed my hand and interlocked his fingers with mine. He pulled me along for the ride. He's climbing through the window. I stick my head out and I ask him what he's doing.

"Follow me and find out." One foot after another I'm on a ledge. I see his head stuck out from ontop of the roof.

"Well are you coming?"

"I'm going, I'm going. how did you even get up there?" He smirked and pointed at the vertical stairs next to me.

"YOU MEAN I HAVE TO CLIMB?!"

"Relax, it's not that bad once you get up here." so I climb and climb and climb. And i get to the top of what doesn't seem like a very tall roof but to my surprise it was miles and miles of green as far as the eye could see. And all the golf people look like little ants. With their tiny golf clubs. Man oh man I've never been more in love with any moment then I was then. he turned to me.

"You're different. I like that. We've only talked a couple times but the depth you carry is like an aura. It radiates and effects everyone around you. You walk around with this sense of confidence and kindness and I swear to god, I melt every time I see you. I have a hard time telling people things. So forgive me if I freaked you out. But I like you, and I would love to take you out Bambi.. What do you say?"

I million thoughts were racing through my head. I didn't think this would actually ever happen. What would Zi think? Would she be upset? Would he be nice? Would he hold interest towards me? I looked down at my hands and then up at the deep blue sky. Then looked at him. I saw that his face change. I'm taking to long to respond. The glimpse of hope left his eyes. I looked at him really serious like and I said.

"Only if we take your bike."

He smiled.

"That's great, Friday. I'll pick you up at five. I know early, but I have a big day planned."

And with that we started to head down back with the boys. He got down first then helped me. When we got inside all five of them were lined up. And I hear him say "she said yes" and they all ran up to hug us. It was great. They are great. Life is great.
