Arrival in Hulbury

Jason's P.O.V.

"What? What do mean all the ships and Corviknight taxis aren't aloud to leave Galar?!"

"Sir a dangerous storm is supposed to hit the whole Galar region."

"The whole region? That's Tauros shit!"

"Well I'm sorry sir, but I already gave you a refund I'm afraid that's all I can do."

"Fine. It can't last that long. I guess I'll have to wait." I send out my Absol and rode on top of it until we reached the town of Motostoke. I returned Absol to his pokéball before heading to the Budew drop Inn. I prefer to camp out but I figured it would be nice to stay in a hotel for a bit. I let all of my Pokémon out. Rai Rai, an Alolan Raichu. I named him as a kid he was also a gift from my mother before went missing. Absol. I caught him when I was in the Hoenn region. I sometimes call him Pandemonium. Finally there's my Lucario I named Rio, I got him two moths ago while I snuck away from the orphanage. 

Rai Rai surfed around the hotel room. Rio started meditating. I turned to Pandemonium, he just sat there, good. Hopefully it'll remain that way for the rest of the night.

Two days later

"Finally the storms over! I had to stay in all day Yesterday." I look at the clock. 10:20 AM, I still have 40 minutes to get to Hulbury. I make my way downstairs, head outside and then call a flying taxi. He takes five minutes to arrive. 35 minutes left, I should just barley make no thanks to this idiot. 

"What took so long?"

"Sorry I-"

"Whatever don't care, lets GO! I have 35 minutes no thanks to you, I should just barley make it."

"U-understood." I hop into the Corviknight taxi and we head off to Hulbury.

An hour ago

Noah's P.O.V.

"Ethan come on!"

"Noah I have to finish packing all of my stuff, each and every single item could be vital to our journey." 

"But you have so much nerd stuff already!"

"Really Ethan you need to hurry up."

"Oh, uh ok whatever you say Alison." I lean close to Ethan's ear and whisper,

"Simp." He then whips around and socks me in the gut. I didn't think he had it in him. He finishes packing and we leave the dorms. Ethan called a Corviknight taxi and we all squished in together, I made sure to go in last so that Ethan could be next to Alison. Not because I wanted to help him, but because I wanted to see him as a blushing mess for the whole ride.

Ethan's P.O.V

Oh. My. Arceus. She's sitting next to me. And we're squished together. I don't know whether I should thank Noah, or punch him in the gut again. On one hand he let me sit next to Alison, on the other hand now I'm a blushing mess, and he only did it for his own amusement. I think I'll just let him be for now. As long as he didn't outright tell Alison, then it should be fine. But back to my plan. 

I NEED to find a way to get brownie points with Alison, that way she'll confess her love for me and I'll tell her and then we'll kiss, and she'll be my girlfriend, and then we'll get married and then we'll have-wait. I'm getting to caught up again, back on track. Maybe I could help her with something, no I have a better idea. I'll find someone who looks strong, force them into a battle with me, win, and Alison will be so impressed she'll fall in love on the spot. Full proof. 

Noah's P.O.V.

We arrive in Hulbury  and we get out of the taxi.

"Alright you two, I'm gonna go reserve our place at the Captain's Table you two... do whatever it is you boys do." Alison walks away and Ethan approaches me.

"Hey Noah."

"Yeah?"

"Well, I have plan I'd like to run by you." This is gonna be good.

"Ok." He then runs by me what he thinks is his ingenious plan to win over Alison.

"So Noah, what do you think of it?"

"Dude. That. Is. GENIOUS." It's so easy to lie to him in this state. Whenever he gets too far into his "love rabbit hole" his mind kind of just turns to mush. His usually amazing plans are on par with mine. MINE. And everything else kind of stops working, until he's in battle. It's like a... boost. His usual battle skills and plans which are amazing normally, become unmatched to no other, he's used this love strategy on me before and while the idea is terrible, I've never been able to beat him in this "state". 

"Oh, thanks. You know I wasn't so sure about this at first but thanks to you, I'll think I'll go through with it." Arceus this is gonna be good.
