You can't remember if you grabbed a mug from the cabinet
But yet, here you are filling it with tap water, the sound of stream helps you regain awareness
You close your eyes and take a deep breath to center your focus
The feeling of the ceramic mug handle and the cold metal sink handle
The sound of water spilling from the mug to the sink floor, some drips on your hand and wrist
The second your eyes flew open from the spillage, your hand went to turn the handle and shut off the water flow
You shook your head and once again took a deep breath, regain your focus, and try to center your consciousness
Now that you're sure this is not a dream, you smirk to yourself and bring the mug to your lips
As the cold water run down your throat, you think to yourself
After the fourth time of waking up, it's finally the start of your day
