Next Day,

“Dad, I wanna ask you something,” Rohan said in an unsure tone

“Yeah sure. Come quickly I’ll drop you today.” his dad replied, starting the car.
His mother gave him two thumbs up wishing him luck.

With only a little distance left, Rohan finally gathered some courage and asked ”Dad what if a person is not normal?”

“What? Like any kind of defect or something?” his dad asked back

“No. Not like that. Like normally people marry their opposite sex. What if someone doesn't want to?” Rohan said.

"If someone doesn't want to marry then what's the problem! It’s better to remain single. At Least no one will be nagging at you all the time just like your mom". He joked.

"Dad, what if I tell you that I am not into girls but boys?" his dad instantly stopped the car.

"Are you insane? This is what they are teaching you in college. I am gonna talk to your teachers" he shouted. His deep and dangerous voice caused Rohan to shiver.

"It's not like that, I just wanted to know your opinion" Rohan said with a low voice.

"What opinion it's not even a matter for anyone to give their opinion. Concentrate on your studies” his dad said in an angry tone.

"Okay dad" He sighed.

With that Rohan opened the door and made his way towards college. Dhruv was waiting for Rohan outside the college. Rohan grabbed the cigarette from Dhruv’s lips and threw it on the ground, smashing it with his shoes. They shook hands. Rohan still needed some time to adapt things. So he wanted to keep it a secret for a while. With only a week left rehearsals were going more intensely. They were not gonna tolerate any mistake at this point. Rohan revealed that he is into Dhruv to Kabir. Kabir at first was of course shocked but he was overwhelmed too that Rohan opened up to him. He expressed his willingness to support both of them no matter what.

Rohan told his mom about his dad's reaction but she assured him that things will work out eventually. He also asked her to come and watch his performance on Sunday with dad and handed over two tickets for the fest.

Finally, the day arrived. His dad had already denied coming on the fest as he said he doesn't have time to waste on these useless things. He left early that day without even saying good luck to his son. His mom woke up early and prayed for Rohan’s sake.
