At My Own Funeral(A Poem)

A time for life;
A time for death;
A time when all;
Is put to rest.

At times I’ve laughed;
At times I’ve mourned;
At times I’ve tired;
Been weary an worn.

Through all my time;
I have learned plenty;
Though my brain would fill;
My heart felt empty.

A time for death;
A time for life;
I know that one day;
Ends my strife.

At times I’m lost within a crowd;
At times I wear a lonely crown;
Alone I was and ever shall be;
Local a forest, a lake, a town.

A wise man once said;
Now I say it again;
That all men want;
What we may not obtain.

A time for life;
A time for death;
A time when my mind;
Is put to rest.

So leave me be;
To my last test;
I’ve lived my life;
Now let me rest.

A/N:  Pretty grim, am I right?  But, despite the dark atmosphere this poem creates, it's meaning doesn't have to be.  Let me know what you think my words mean and how they came to me.  Maybe someone might actually guess correctly...  eventually.  Until then, I look forward to reading what these words mean to you, dear readers.  Until next time.

Die Hard,
Never Give up,
And Always Remember.
