  Nari closed the door,taking a deep breath

That was rather embarrassing,first she showed him her baby photos,also,what is it with Moms and showing baby pictures?

And now she low-key sounded like she wants them to do something....illegal

'I think your Mom wants me as her son-in-law'

Yep,this guy had to rub it in

'Shut up' she shoots a glare,he was grinning as wide as usual

What is it with this boy and grinning like that? Doesn't his cheeks hurt?

She made her way and plop down on her bed

'Hey Nari'

'Mmm?'

'I noticed the memorandum of your sister in the living room' he said,sitting next to her on the bed

'She was only 17 when she died?'

They were gradually getting closer,they knew mostly about each other now and Nari was slowly opening up about her sister,so it was alright to talk about sensitive topics such as that

It was really helpful for her to move on

'Yeah,she was quite young'

'How was she like?'

Nari smiled,staring up into the ceiling

'She was amazing,she was the exact opposite of me'

Nari was born in a family of Medical experts,her dad being a doctor and her mom being a head nurse in one of Seoul's biggest hospitals

Nari had  a bigger sister and a young brother,their names being Hwang Naeun and Hwang Nayeol

Growing up,Nari and Naeun had always been close,they were inseparable to be exact

Naeun was extremely extroverted,as one would say,she was adventurous,a risk taker and had always been out going.She had a mind of her own,she was care free and wreck less

She was the sibling who always got scolded because of misbehaving but she had a good and kind heart

Nari was the opposite,she liked keeping to herself,she was introverted and would always obey her parents,the exact opposite of her sister

Since they were only 4 years apart,they were very very close and inseparable,they were best friends and were always together

Naeun would tell Nari about her adventures,taking her along sometimes as well

Their parents wanted both of them to follow their paths,become doctors like them and continue their family's legacy

Nari obliged but Naeun didn't,she had other dreams and plans and as expected,their parents were furious

They would have fights over it and Naeun would leave the house for 2-3 days

The two weeks prior to her death,Naeun was at the abandoned park,Nari had found her there.She thought that was her final place of peace now

They laid on the grass and looked up at the sky,it was beautiful

'I know I'm wrong for running away like this' Naeun began 'But I don't have a choice,Mom and Dad have to understand that I have a life and desires of my own and they need to accept that besides I suck at being a doctor anyway'

Nari laughed,yeah,her sister was pretty clumsy to be a doctor'But what if you make a mistake?what if you screw up your life?'

'My dear Nari,' she turned towards Nari 'Look what they've done to you,you're scared of making mistakes and screwing up.We're human,we're bound to screw up and make mistakes at some point in our life,they should give us the freedom to do that.Its how one matures and learns'

She sat up 'I know I'm only 17 but I have a long life ahead of me, I only live once,shouldn't I be allowed to live my life the way I want'

Nari thought about it,she was right,her sister was right

'What are you going to do Eun-nie?'

Naeun shrugs, 'Time will tell'

Two weeks later,Naeun had been involved in a car accident,thus, loosing her life in the process

Her death was hard on everyone,especially Nari

She became more quiet,she just distanced herself from everyone for a couple of months.Barely ate,barely slept

And though she had a life and she had to move on,she had never really moved on from her sister's death

But slowly and gradually,she became herself again

She could smile again,she could sing in the shower again and she could be free again

All thanks to him
