The next day

"Yup! I told em!" Hoseok beamed a large smile. Jungkook and Jimin walked away sulking. "What? Did I do something wrong? Wait! Jungkook?! Jimin hyung?!" Hoseok kept rambling. Jimin and Jungkook left the building, since it was already the end of school for today.

"Fuck. I'm sorry, Jungkook-ah. I should've been more careful." Jimin scolded himself.

"Hey," Jungkook said, grabbing Jimin's hands, "it's not your fault. Let's just go to Tae and he will help us clear it all up." Jimin nodded and they continued walking before suddenly 6 men were surrounding them.

"Heir of Jeon Mafia! Come with us or else." One man called out. He was plump and nearly bald.

"Or else what?" Jimin asked.

"Or else we will use force." The man answered. A man tried to come at Jungkook but Jungkook grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and punched him before throwing him outta the way. Jimin was grabbed from behind.

"Get," Jimin said stomping on the man's foot, "off," Jimin then got one of his arms free and elbowed the guy's nose, "of," after the guy was holding his nose Jimin punched him in the face, "me." Jimin finished and fixed his coat.

"Ready?" Jungkook asked with a grin.

"Aren't I always?" Jimin answered before they began to brawl with the other men. Jungkook kicked the plump man back as he fought another guy. Jimin looked over to Jungkook to see if he needed help as he already defeated 2 more guys. Jungkook was fighting one but when Jimin saw the plump man who was kicked down pull out a gun Jimin's mind went blank with fear. Jimin ran quickly. "Jungkook!" Jimin yelled as a gunshot then echoed through the empty street full of knocked out men. Jungkook headbutted the man he was fighting and pushing him down when he suddenly turned around and saw Jimin holding his arm.

"J-Jimin." Jungkook called out. Jimin winced slightly. Jungkook's eyes darkened, his fists clenched, and he gritted his teeth as he walked towards the man.

"Kyu, there was no need to-" One man said to Kyu, the plump man. Jungkook shoved the one man on the ground and grabbed the gun. Jungkook put the gun on safety.

"I will kill you!" Jungkook growled as he began to use the butt of the gun to hit the man named Kyu.

"Jungkook! Stop!" Jimin yells. "Jungkook, it's just a scratch I'm fine!" Jimin exclaims but Jungkook doesn't budge, like he doesn't hear Jimin. "Jungkook-ah!" Jimin yells once more. Jimin walks to Jungkook and kicks his knees and pushes him elsewhere.

"Owwwww!" Jungkook wailed in pain. Jimin takes out his phone and takes a photo of Kyu and the other man.

"There, now your pictures have been sent to the Jeon Mafia. I suggest to watch out." Jimin scowls as the two men run off. Jimin turns to Jungkook who in sitting on the floor rubbing the back of his knees.

"What was that for?!" Jungkook whined.

"You almost stepped over the line." Jimin comments.

"And so what? He hurt you. I would've killed him if you let me." Jungkook mumbled.

"I-I didn't know they carried stuff like that." Jimin stuttered. Jungkook got up and patted down his pants.

"Yea. We have them too. Alot of our guys get injured with them so we got involved with them too." Jungkook replied. "You wanna know why I won't accept the inheritance?" Jimin nodded. "Because my father's ex wife was killed with one during a dispute with us and another mafia. My father's ex wife, ex ex wife, ex ex ex wife, all of them were killed by another mafia. So if I were to accept the inheritance...

"I... would have to let you go." Jungkook finalized with a frown. As he grabbed their bags they threw on the ground earlier. Jimin eyes didn't stop following Jungkook. Jimin's heart it was... beating. Not how his heart would beat when Jungkook kissed him. Jimin's heart is more like pounding.

'I-I thought that if I created distance between us... then maybe you would be happier... that maybe you would find someone to have a family with. But now I see that I can't let you go either.' Jimin thought.
