"From roommates to lovers" A kaemaki fanfic

Chapter 1

Kaede's POV

*BEEP BEEP!!!* I yawned and turned of my alarm clock. Today was the day I would go to college, to become a professional pianist. I got up and grabbed the small pink hairbrush and began to brush through my hair. Next I changed into my pink vest and purple skirt. I put my piano hair clips in my hair and left the room.

Kaori was sitting at the table "I made breakfast Kaede" "I'm going to miss you Kaori since we will both be in different classes and dorms and will not see eachother often" Kaori stayed silent though. I ate the breakfast Kaori made and then grabbed my bags and got into the car.

After a long ride I finally pulled into the college dorm building it is separate from the school but only a 3 minute drive. I checked my dorm number it was room 1298. I entered and looked around at the lobby. A purple haired boy and a girl with blonde hair were there. "Hey! Hey! Hey!" the purple haired boy was yelling at the girl about something. I walked over and said "Don't be rude!" "Nobody asked for your opinion you trashy pianist!" How does he know that? 

I just walked away confused and decided to just go to my dorm. I wanted to meetup with my childhood friend, Shuichi but he was not here yet so I just went to my dorm. I will text him after I find my dorm. I found my dorm and grabbed my key,shoved it in and turned it. There was a click sound and I opened the door. A girl with red eyes was there. "Hello!, My name is Kaede Akamatsu" She looked up from her phone as I spoke "Maki harukawa" she said. "Hello then Maki!" 

Before Maki could reply I got a message. I pulled out my phone it was from shuichi "Hey Kaede can you meet me at the cafe right next to the school?" I replied to his message "Yeah I'm on my way!" I pulled on Maki's arm "Come on we are going to the cafe to meet up with my friend!" I dragged Maki with me "Hey! Wha- What do you think you are doing?!" "Do you want to die!" I ignored her though.

We got into my car and drove to the cafe. I saw Shuichi as soon as we entered and waved at him and ran over while Maki ran after me. "Shuichi! This is my roommate, Maki' "Oh, Hello Maki" Shuichi said. I noticed that the purple haired boy was here ordering a drink. Then he walked over to us. "Hey! Shuichi" he said. "Wait you know him" I said to Shuichi. "Y- Yeah?" Shuichi said confused to why I looked somewhat upset. Maki looked at him with hatred "That fucking asshole". Shuichi started panicking since Maki and I were trash talking him. 

The purple haired boy looked upset now. "Here Shuichi..." He handed Shuichi a drink. To break the awkwardness I said "Maki and I are going to order something now" Maki ordered a small decaf iced coffee and I ordered a small green tea. We stood there talking while the workers made the drinks. "So Maki, Whats your first class?" "Algebra 3" Maki replied. "Really? It is mine too" We then got our drinks and walked over to where Shuichi and the other boy were sitting.
