This is not your typical Draco Malfoy story! I'm finding stories that I'm reading lately are usually on two very far ends of the spectrum lol. It's either a super soft, loving, underestimated Draco with a redemption arc, or dominating and toxic. My story is smack dab in the middle of these two😂. Draco may seem a little soft in first bit, but that's because my OC is a longtime friend of his and not someone he's bullied for years. Also, yes this will be super toxic, messy and frustrating for a while. They're children of Death Eaters, they didn't have good upbringings, they don't understand the concept of love. If a toxic Draco relationship and an even more toxic OC is not for you, you may have to give this book a pass. This is also a very slow burn. They aren't going to fall in love right away and live happily ever after. There will be scenes that are fluffy but as the story progresses it will get darker and more toxic. Anyway, I digress, not sure anyone will read this anyway😂
I haven't decided if there will be smut yet. As of where I am right now, there are non-descript sexual topics, but I have labelled the story as mature for good reason. There is coarse language, violence, death, drug and alcohol use, mental illness, a su*c*de attempt, and sexual themes. I find young wattpad readers aren't heeding mature warnings lately and I'm just putting it out there that this story is mature. Read at your own risk.
I have spent months formulating this story and am ready to start posting chapters. It's by no means perfect, but I will continuously update my chapters to fix any errors. I've always wanted to write a Hogwarts tragedy. This storyline popped into my head one night and I couldn't stop writing. Obviously this will be a slow burn, and the first bit will be more focused on my main character's development. Of course I'll throw some Draco in there too, but don't expect a fast burn.
** important: I am aware that Evan Rosier and Narcissa Malfoy are technically cousins, but in this story we'll pretend otherwise :) **
