Y/n pov:
Today is Saturday day this means we don't have to train today. I was drawing in my room when I started wondering what Ben was doing. So I went to his room to find Klaus searching for money, obviously. "What the hell are you doing Klaus", I said already knowing what he was searching for. "Oh hey Y/n how are you?!, Klaus said. "Should I tell Ben that you were searching money for drugs again?  I told Klaus. "No,no ok i'm leaving but please don't tell it Ben because i really don't want to listen to another of his speeches that drugs are bad and that i should stop taking them", Klaus said a bit pissed off. "I won't but he's right Klaus." Klaus left without saying anything. I went down into the living room to find Ben reading deeply. He didn't notice me. [Ben and me are very close when I was little, i think i was four i still haven't talked to anyone ever. Our dad thought it had to do something with my power but it didn't. Klaus and Ben always were nice to me. They tried to make me talk a lot but it never worked until one day. Ben and I were in the kitchen catching each other while mom was cooking dinner. Ben and I ran to the living room as i fell. As he noticed that i fell he quickly came to me and asked me if everything was okay. I nodded. Then he hugged me and whispered "I always will protect you Y/n i promise" Then Ben smiled at me when I said "Thank you" it was very quietly but the 4 year old Ben heard it. "Y/n you talked wow!, I am so proud of you let's tell it Klaus come on!" Ben said with a huge smile on his face.
Since then we were best Friends. I admit that I have a crush on Ben but I don't know if i should tell him because i know he is the nicest, most understandable and softest person i know and i don't want to him to be upset or something like that. So i never told him.
I also remember that day when Five left. We all sat down and started to eat, Ben and I sit opposite each other. I noticed that he was reading again when I suddenly heard Klaus' voice in my head (no.8 can read thoughts and hear them if someone want her to hear them. and Y/n also can answer people with her thoughts)"Ben is looking at you with heart eyes Y/n!" Klaus said in his thoughts i looked up to Ben as he quickly looked into his book again. I started blushing. Suddenly Five started arguing with Dad i didn't really listen but I noticed that the ran to the doors of the umbrella academy and left. I was about to stand up and run after him when I heard Ben's thoughts " Please Y/n stay, you're going to get into trouble if you run after five now", he said clam in his thoughts "But I-" my thoughts got interrupted by Ben again. "I can't protect you from dad if you run after him now, please stay you know i promised to protect you always so please don't make me break my promise Y/n", he almost begged. Ok,ok Ben i won't run after five" "Thank you" i looked up to see Ben smiling softly at me, i smiled back.] Ben still hasn't noticed me so i sat down on the couch opposite and scared him because i said "Hey Ben!" to him in my thoughts. "Omg Y/n don't scare me like that!, i didn't notice you sorry" Ben said to me. "It's okay sorry that I scared you like that" "its okay", he said while smiling at me with his cute smile that i can't forget. "What are you reading Ben?" "Oh ehm it's a book about the solar system it's pretty interesting" "ohhh ok" "Oh right i almost forgot i want to show you a book i found a few days ago, I think you're gonna love it.", Ben told me. He dragged me into the library. The library is huge and pretty dark because there is only one window. "Here is it, Ben said after a few minutes searching after the book.He handed it to me, i read the first page and i already loved it"Thanks Ben i love it!", i said excited as i hugged him. He was surprised about the hug. But i think he liked it. We sat down at the library and started reading our books as Ben suddenly said " Uhm i want to talk to you Y/n" "About what?, are you mad at me Ben?", i answered nervous. "No how could i be mad a someone who's that cute", Ben said. He looked down and started blushing when he realised that he just called me cute. I started blushing too. "Did you just called me cute?"
"Yea uhm i am sorry" "You don't have to be sorry, i think you are cute too", i told him nervously. "What wait really because i wanted to talk about that i... you know uhm... I kinda like you Y/n. Like i mean not as a friend or sibling i think i have feelings for you but i don't want to destroy our friendship because it's the most worth full thing i have. Thats why i didn't told you something earlier", Ben said while he was blushing and obviously worried that i wouldn't like him back and he had destroyed our friendship now. I just hugged him and whispered " You haven't destroyed our friendship at all Ben, i like you too. I have a crush on you since we were 11 but i also thought it would maybe destroy our friendship if i tell you how i feel" into his ear. Ben pulled me away and looked at me with the softest look on his face as he said "are you sure?,you don't have to like me back",Ben suddenly said with a worried but soft voice. " I am sure Ben", i answered and smiled. Then he did something i did not expect to happen, he kissed me. His lips are soooooo soft and his kiss is very gentle. I never thought he would do that because Ben is more shy and nice than brave. After a few seconds we pulled away. Be both smiled at each other :)
