When Venus started her third year at Hogwarts there had been a few changes in her life, her father seemed to be over the fact that she was in Slytherin, but he still wasn't ok with it, and he made sure to remind Venus that. Of course, drifting apart from her father affected her.

Another thing that happened and that it was a stir to the Orden of the Phoenix, was that one of the most dangerous wizards had escaped from Azkaban: Sirius Black. Everyone talked about that everyday and Venus was starting to feel annoyed. Talking about that wasn't good for her family since James had the firm, and in Venus's point of view, stupid idea, that his childhood bestfriend wasn't an assassin. Lily didn't believe that either, but she said that Sirius wasn't guilty or innocent until he could say his version of the story. And James didn't say anything about that, because deep down, he thought the same thing.

They also found out that Remus Lupin was going to be teaching at Hogwarts. So Venus thought that having someone close to her family there was something good, that way someone could take care of Harry. Things went downhill for Harry when Lily wanted to visit her sister, Petunia. Harry and Venus didn't have much in common, but they shared the hate for their mother's family. So, if they wanted to survive a day with their stupid cousin, they should stick together. But luck wasn't on their side. Apparently, they got there in a bad moment, since Marge, -Petunia's sister-in-law - had decided to go that day too. The dinner was based on the Potters having a discussion with the annoying sister-in-law of Lily's sister and with Harry being extremely mad that ended up with Marge flying.

It didn't took long to Venus to announce how mad she was at his brother while they were at Remus Lupin's house; since Harry, feeling very mad, escaped from the Dursley's house and Venus didn't thought that was a good idea.

-It was immature Harry!. There is a murderer outside!- Venus said, causing Harry to feel annoyed and Merope Black to get mad, Merope couldn't understand why Venus had to talk about something too delicate for her- He could have been around, or something like that. You are lucky that the minister acted that way, in any other case, you say goodbye to Hogwarts for making magic outside the castle.

Her brother ignored what she was saying. But, Hermione Granger agreed with Venus. Ronald Weasley was happy, since he thought that it was iconic that Marge could be even more fat.

After that, her third year was pretty chill compared to the others. It was that chill, that Venus allowed herself to have her first boyfriend; and it was the one and only Edward Lancaster, a fourth year Gryffindor who Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy hated in secret (it wasn't easy for Draco to hide his disagreement on the relationship when he was around)

The experience of a relationship to Venus, was a total adventure. But only that, she only thought that. She didn't thought that it was true love, she just wanted to have a boyfriend. It wasn't hard for her to attract boys. So, with things being that way, Quentin and Cygnus didn't really mind that. At first they had their doubts, since they thought that the girl could end up heart broken or something like that, but since they didn't saw their best friend interested, they stopped caring about it, while Malfoy was trying to do everything he could so the relationship would end.

There were more problems; like Sirius Black entering the castle and the almost decapitation of a hippogriff thanks to Draco. After that, everything was okay until the end of their third year. Mr. Black finally got to talk with the students. Nobody was ready for that, Venus didn't even knew why she was there. But she was thankful of being there, since they found out that Harry's godfather wasn't a murderer and that the real assassin was Ronald's rat, a.k.a Peter Pettigrew. They also found out that Merope was seeing her father and bringing him food - this made Venus feel bad since she talked horrible things about him, but she didn't apologize, her pride was bigger- That night couldn't be worse, Harry attacked Professor Snape and Lupin was in front of them when he turned into a werewolf, and Peter decided to scape.

And Sirius almost goes back to Azkaban. But thanks to Hermione and Harry (with the help of a time turner) they saved him and Buckbeak.

Venus ended the year very upset. Sirius treated her like if she was nothing important, but he couldn't stop idolizing Harry, as everyone did.

-You don't need the attention of a crazy man, Venus- Cygnus said - Anyways, you know that your dear brother always steals the attention of people who don't matter.

-That's your uncle Aidan- Quentin said- Have some respect.

-My uncle? My uncle? ha! no, of course not. Let's see, I want you to say the same thing to Draco, because he is also his uncle or something like that. And i bet he will send you straight to hell. Anyways, as soon as he meets you, meets us he will only look at us as if we were the worst thing in this world. His hate for Slytherin is stronger than his maturity, which i doubt he has. And, i hate that you call me by my stupid muggle name, so don't do it.

Venus stopped feeling upset, at least for a moment and then she felt stupid for begging attention. Not even the missing attention from her father made her feel that way! she got rid of all those thoughts and focused on what really mattered: herself. At the end of the day, that year she wasn't exposed to any type of danger. And she also decided that she didn't have time for a boyfriend, so she broke up with the poor guy -which made her brother very happy but he would never admit it out loud- After all that drama, Draco got what he wanted and left happy to his house so he could prepare and probably, talk to Venus about his feelings for her next year.

Venus also went back to her house which was located in a very secret place - according to what James said- it was close to Wiltshire. She was praying that the next year, she wouldn't have any risk of dying, at least for her, since she knew that for Harry, it was imposible.
